ColourPop Cannoli Highlighter Trio Review, Photos, Swatches
Cannoli
ColourPop Cannoli Highlighter Trio ($22.00 for 0.45 oz.) includes three highlighters–two are totally new, one is a repromote–housed in a paper sleeve but each is individually packaged (just like any of the standalone highlighters). You can also purchase any of the included shades individually for $8 a pop. I’m a big fan of ColourPop’s highlighters, as they are particularly long-wearing and very blendable on the skin. If you’re a fan of warmer golds, you’ll probably enjoy this set of highlighters.
Cannoli
LELimited Edition. $22.00.
Frosted
Frosted is a light-medium gold with warm, yellow undertones and a pearly sheen. The finish had less obvious shimmer and more of a reflective, smooth sheen. It had opaque coverage when applied with a flat, synthetic brush (or fingertips), and more medium, buildable coverage when applied with a stippling brush–just as described. It had a smooth, spongy texture that wasn’t too wet or too dry in the pan, so it was easily blended like a cream blush but dried down and set like a powder blush. The highlighter lasted for over ten hours on me.

Formula Overview
$10.00/0.15 oz. - $66.67 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "buildable" coverage and can be applied with fingertips (which will yield "higher coverage") or a brush (for sheerer coverage). It's a cream-based product that has a subtle, "wet" feel to it but never has the thickness of a true cream-based blush.
It goes on with the smoothness of a cream formulation but diffuses and blends (without lifting up one's base) more like a powder product. The product sets to a powder finish, so the product won't slide around during the day.
On me, the wear tends to be between eight and 10 hours. Most shades have medium, buildable pigmentation with some being semi-opaque to opaque on occasion. They are typically blendable, easy to use, and long-wearing.

Whipped
Whipped is a muted, rosy bronze with warm undertones and a metallic sheen. The texture on this shade was a little more emollient and wet to the touch, so it did not build up coverage quite as easily as other shades. I don’t think that this made it a bad shade in reality, as I was still able to layer it for nearly full coverage, but it may be less ideal for someone who prefers true-to-pan coverage quickly. It wore well for ten hours on me before fading slightly.

Nice to see these are budget friendly 95% dupes of so many HE highlighters!
So good to have choices!
Whipped is Beautiful! I love it ?
Yay 🙂
Yes to Whipped and Frosted! Sounds like I’m baking some cupcakes or something! LoL?
Haha!
Very pretty and the price is right.
These are super affordable!
So pretty all three! I’m not sure they would be right for my skintone, doesn’t help me wanting them all, though 🙂
At least you can always grab them individually!
Which one suits your skin tone the best? Colourpop waffle or cannoli?
I don’t really know – I like both so I’m useless here!
