Essence Satin Coral & Satin Love Satin Touch Blushes Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Satin Coral
Essence Satin Coral Satin Touch Blush ($2.99 for 0.17 oz.) is a medium, coral-orange with warm undertones and a satin finish. The more I blended and buffed the color on my skin, the more luminous the finish appeared.
It’s supposed to be a “silky-soft, highly pigmented powder,” and it is only available in two shades presently–I really hope they add more shades to it, though! The powder was smooth, soft, and a little powdery in the pan, but it applied beautifully to the skin and never looked dusty or chalky. It was a denser powder, too, so I felt like it was not prone to sheering out and was blendable while still retaining its intensity and coverage. The product had rich pigmentation that went on evenly and lasted for seven and a half hours on me.

Satin Love
Essence Satin Love Satin Touch Blush ($2.99 for 0.17 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark rosy brown with warm, reddish undertones and a satin finish. It was intensely pigmented, but the very soft, silky texture made it easy to apply less or diffuse what was applied for sheerer coverage, as desired. The texture was smooth, denser but still had some powderiness to it in the pan, though I did not notice this when applied to my skin. The finish was particularly lovely, as it became more luminous as the powder was blended on my skin, and it can be hard to find true, satin finish blushes–especially at this price point! On my skin, the blush started to fade noticeably after seven and a half hours of wear.

I’m thrilled with how well these blushes performed, considering how reasonably priced they are! If they added more shades to their range, I would be absolutely smitten.
They are really nice! 🙂
Oh wow I sure hope they add more medium and darker shades to the collection! These two look beautiful and the consistency sounds like my kind of blush. Plus the price would make it hard to say no.
Sadly, I have a bit deeper dupe for Satin Love so I won’t be picking that up and Satin Coral is too light for me. I will however be keeping an eye on Essence to see if they release more shades soon.
They really should expand the range!
Such pretty shades! Your eyeshadow look is great too!
Aw, thank you!
Wow, these are both pretty and price is right! Will check my stash for dupes but if none, will put on my wishlist
The finish on these makes them special, I think! So rare to find true satin finishes…
I love when you review and rave about more affordable products, because I go out and buy them right away haha
Hope you like these, Samantha!
Wow, I love Satin Coral. Gotta admit, Essence is a brand I can get behind. I think they produce some great products at affordable prices. I’m a sucker for peachy blushes with a sheen but no gold glitter.
The finish on these is gorgeous!
Want. Them. Both! These look like $40+ blush for only $2.99, which is just crazy and almost unheard of. Going to U later today for a LG Pink Buttercream, will get these too, I think!
They were impressive 🙂
Oooh, I really like Satin Coral. Both are lovely, though.
They are 😀
Love Satin Love, such a beautiful shade and looks easy to wear, goes with anything! And so affordable 🙂
The price is crazyyy good!
You had me at the word satin 😛
😀
It’s so nice to see budget beauty products get a great review! I hope they do come out with more shades. 🙂
Fingers crossed!
I got Satin Love as soon as I saw it in stores, and I love it sooooo much!! What a gorgeous blush at such an incredible price.
Isn’t it lovely?
Love it when drug store, cruelty free, products kill the game like this !!! 🙂 Thanks for the review!
No problem, Maryam!
I was just looking at these this afternoon at Shoppers, and came home and checked Temptalia and you had a review of them up!! 😛
I’m really liking these!! And for this price I could get both of them, and throw them into my travel kit!!!
What a coincidence!
I haven’t seen these in Canada yet, but I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled for them. I love the design that’s pressed into them!
Hope you get them in, Rae 😀
These two are such incredible finds!! I got them both recently and can’t seem to put them away!
So glad you’re enjoying them, Stephanie!
What’s the lavender-pink on your other cheek in the Satin Coral swatch? Did I miss a recent blush review?!
Sorry, I don’t keep track of what’s on the other side!
I am so interested in what that lavender blush is too! If you do remember, please post!
I love how these performed; they look lovely in the skin!… but at the same time, I feel like the shades have been almost alarmingly similar! I need a good nude or a plummy shade, cause coral makes me look very corpse-chic, lol! ?
I will definitely pick up both of these blushes; at this price, you can’t go wrong! Essence is a great DS brand 🙂
These blushes are the perfect colors for Spring/Summer and with their reasonable price they will be a great addition to my stash. Well done, Essence.
I have one of these blushes in the older packaging, but I can’t think of the shade name off the top of my head. Both of these look great. Essence really does put out some really good products, especially for the price.
I applaud Essence on doing such a great job on affordable blushes, they look great on you.
