Becca Champagne Glow Shimmering Skin Perfector Palette Review, Photos, Swatches
Becca Champagne Glow Shimmering Skin Perfector Palette
Becca Champagne Glow Shimmering Skin Perfector Palette ($34.00 for 0.26 oz.) includes three highlighters in white, peach-orange, and copper. The latter two have been released in full-sized, individual compacts previously, but this is the first time for the white highlighter (Pearl). If you like Becca’s highlighters, I don’t see why you wouldn’t like this palette, other than that you may already own two of the three shades. Like the Afterglow palette, the texture of the three powders seemed drier here, not quite as creamy or as finely-milled as the full-sized versions. It doesn’t seem to impact the overall appearance of them on the skin, and they’re still blendable and easy to apply. Becca’s highlighter formula is what I’d call a strong highlighter–intense, obvious, over-the-top–and a little goes a long way, so I recommend using a very feathery highlighting or fan brush to get a luminous sheen to avoid emphasizing pores.
Pearl is a pale, milky white with a frosted shimmer. The texture was fairly soft and smooth, but it felt a little dry–almost looser and not as dense as the full-sized pressed highlighters do. It had good pigmentation that could be blended out or built-up for a really high-shine sheen. The highlighter lasted for eight hours on me. Becca Pearl (DC, $38.00) is less shimmery (95% similar). NYX Ice Queen (P, $5.00) is more shimmery (95% similar). OFRA Glazed Donut (P, $29.00) is warmer (95% similar). Becca Pearl (LE, ) is less shimmery (95% similar). Anastasia Icy (P, $22.00) is more shimmery, lighter, warmer (95% similar). NYX Liquid Prism (P, $6.99) is less shimmery, cooler (95% similar). Ciate Rainbow (P, $32.00) is less shimmery (95% similar). ColourPop Fanny Pack (PiP, $10.00) is less shimmery (95% similar). ColourPop S'il Vous Play (DC, $12.00) is more shimmery (95% similar). Coloured Raine Fashion Show (P, $25.00) is more shimmery (95% similar). Burberry No. 01 White (LE, $68.00) is darker (95% similar). L'Oreal Ice (P, $12.99) is lighter, cooler (95% similar). Tarte Worthy (LE, $29.00) is less shimmery, darker (95% similar). Dior Glowing Pink (001) (LE, $58.00) is warmer (90% similar). Makeup Revolution Liquid Luminous Luna (P, $9.00) is less shimmery (90% similar). BH Cosmetics Carli Bybel Deluxe Edition #18 (LE, ) is more shimmery (95% similar). Tarte Champagne Pink (LE, ) is less shimmery, warmer (90% similar). Wet 'n' Wild Glow Watcher (LE, $4.99) is more shimmery (90% similar). LORAC Shimmer Highlight (P, ) is less shimmery (90% similar). Chanel Poudre Lumiere Glacee (LE, $45.00) is less shimmery (90% similar). Top 20 dupes listed, see the rest. See comparison swatches / view dupes side-by-side.
Champagne Pop is a light-medium, golden orange with warm undertones and a frosted, almost metallic sheen. Again, the texture felt looser, a little dry, compared to the full-sized version I have from earlier this year. It doesn’t feel particularly dry (certainly not crumbly or stiff), but I think one of the more standout characteristics of Becca’s pressed highlighters is that creaminess, that richness, which I don’t quite get here. Luckily, it still applies easily, blends and diffuses on the skin, and lasted for eight hours without emphasizing pores. Chanel Ivory Gold (10) (P, $58.00) is lighter, cooler (95% similar). Makeup Revolution Liquid Luminous Gold (P, $9.00) is darker (90% similar). Becca Champagne Pop (DC, $38.00) is less shimmery, cooler (90% similar). Melt Cosmetics Gold Ore (P, $39.00) is less shimmery, cooler (95% similar). Ciate Celestial (P, $32.00) is less shimmery, cooler (95% similar). Wet 'n' Wild Golden Flower Crown (P, $4.99) is less shimmery (95% similar). Cover FX Rose Gold (LE, $34.00) is lighter (95% similar). Wet 'n' Wild Precious Petals (LE, $4.99) is lighter, cooler (95% similar). ColourPop Bigger and Better (LE, $12.00) is less shimmery (95% similar). Marc Jacobs Beauty Dew You (P, $45.00) is less shimmery, cooler (90% similar). Huda Beauty Flora (LE, $55.00) is less shimmery, darker (90% similar). Persona Zuma (P, $24.00) is darker (100% similar). Chanel Plisse Lumiere de Chanel (LE, $80.00) is less shimmery, lighter (95% similar). NARS Ibiza (P, $38.00) is less shimmery, darker (90% similar). Dose of Colors Fuego (LE, $28.00) is darker (90% similar). Tarte Whimsical (LE, $29.00) is less shimmery (95% similar). NARS Tribulation (LE, $30.00) is less shimmery, lighter, cooler (90% similar). Makeup Geek Nightlight (LE, $20.00) is less shimmery, brighter (95% similar). NARS Frenzy (Left) (PiP, ) is lighter, brighter (90% similar). Becca Topaz Flashes Gilt (LE, $34.00)(90% similar). Blushed Copper is a medium-dark, coppery brown with warm, reddish undertones and a frosted sheen. It was intensely pigmented with a soft, blendable consistency. This one is metallic enough that it emphasizes pores if I’m not careful with my application. I’m medium in complexion (MAC NC25-NC30), and it works as a highlighting blush on me, as it does yield visible color on my skin tone. If you’re fairer than I and aren’t sure how to use it, you can use it with a fan brush for even subtler warmth, or you can mix it with Pearl or Champagne Pop to lighten. Becca Blushed Copper (DC, $34.00) is less shimmery, lighter, less pigmented (95% similar). Becca Rose Gold (DC, $38.00) is lighter (90% similar). Becca Papaya/Topaz (P, $27.00) is more shimmery, warmer (95% similar). LORAC Unapologetic (LE, ) is lighter (90% similar). Chanel Canaille (89) (LE, $45.00) is less shimmery, brighter (90% similar). Makeup Revolution Liquid Rose Gold (P, $9.00) is less shimmery, lighter, cooler (90% similar). MAC Worldly Wealth (LE, $24.00) is warmer (90% similar). MAC Pleasure Model (LE, $31.00) is warmer (90% similar). ColourPop Happy Camper (DC, $12.00) is more shimmery, darker (90% similar). NARS Fervor (Right) (PiP, ) is darker (90% similar). Becca Rose Gold (P, $41.00) is less shimmery, lighter (90% similar). Make Up For Ever H312 (P, $23.00) is more shimmery (90% similar). Salt New York Rust (P, $16.00) is less shimmery, lighter, cooler (90% similar). Becca Songbird (P, $32.00) is lighter, brighter (90% similar). Illamasqua Supernatural (P, $24.00) is more shimmery, glossier (90% similar). MAC Stylish Me (LE, $24.00) is cooler (90% similar). NARS Liberation (Right) (LE, ) is less shimmery, lighter (90% similar). L'Oreal Rose (P, $12.99) is more shimmery, lighter (90% similar). NARS Na Pali Coast (P, $39.00) is darker (90% similar). That smile and sparkle in your eyes makes our day 🙂
Aw, thanks Rashmi!
Wow, they all look lovely on you! I got the Afterglow palette and love it, but haven’t had a chance to mix the shades yet, will give that a try
I hope you like mixing ’em!
Such a gorgeous looking trio! I really like this one quite a bit, and I believe just about everyone could use it due to all 3 shades being blendable with one another. As I had said previously, I just don’t know whether it’s something I actually need with MAC Shaft Of Gold coming to me? Plus already owning CP Butterfly Beach, Poolside and Quarters? But I WOULD buy this if I didn’t already have so many similar shades!
I bet you’re covered!
I love the lip-color combination on you Christine! 🙂 I just received the Opal Glow on the go palette and this was the first time I tried the powder formulation of the shimmering skin perfectors and I know they aren’t for me! I mean they are pretty good but seeing how subtle the liquid version is I was expecting something less sparkly and more creamy and somehow what I received wasn’t! Long story short, I am sort of on the fence about getting any more of the powder versions, be it palettes or full size! Much happier just slathering the liquid all over my face ha!
The pressed version is the most intense of the three they have!
The colors are great on you! What eyeshadow are you wearing?

These highlighters look gorgeous on you! Too bad two are so warm; will have to be a pass for me.
Thanks, Michele!
I am absolutely OBSESSED with this highlighter palette. For all the NW50-ish ladies out there, do not be afraid to get this. We can rock all three!
Yay!
What brush and brand do you use to apply these highlighters?
Anything feathery or fan-like, nothing in particular.
I’ve always been wary of highlighter because I felt as though it would make my oily skin look even oiler. Recently my friend lent me her Becca highlight in Opal. I’m absolutely in love!
I saw this palette in store and was underwhelmed seeing it in the palette. But looking at your swatches and actually applied, I think its the perfect palette to start my Becca collection!
They are pretty!
Gosh, this is sooooo pretty, swoooon 🙂
Glad ya liked it!
I have this and 100% agree with your review. I was concerned about the dryness when I swatched them. But, gladly I felt like it was okay ven on my skin which has been giving me a lot of issues with dryness. So far, I have only worn Pearl and Champagne Pop alone and mixed. I love all 3 mixed!
Isn’t it odd? They look just fine on, but they definitely feel a bit different.
Yes! They look buttery. But are not! I also was reminded of the intensity of Becca powders! Wowsers! I surely need the fan brush for these. 🙂
Every makeup artist should have this one in their kit. It’s universally workable for any skin tone for sure and all the shades mix so well together.
The packaging could have been with a touch less depth, I felt like it’ taller than it need to be for those pans. lol
I hear you! It seemed a bit extra-large (relative to the contents).
How do you feel about the size of the pans? I was worried that they might be a little small thus not allowing brushes in easily.
They’re totally fine.
Loving these review photos!! You look lovely. Good to know these are really shiny. I will need to try them on in person. I’m in the market for a great highlighter. I need to check out the Loumanizer palette, this, and the Kevin Aucoin ones.
Thanks a lot, Kira! Going to be a tough call between those three!
I’m not sure I could pull the copper shade off but this looks great on you and I’m sure this will sell out fast. Becca is the queen of the highlighting game!
Mix it! 😀
They all look great on you!
Thanks, BB!
I love how these shades mix together and make a beautiful look on you Christine – these colours are definitely your colours.
They mix really well!
I really hope Becca releases pearl in a full sized pressed or poured version! I’m just throwing that out there in case anyone from becca is checking this out. That’s my vote ?
Fingers crossed!
Sephora has the poured version on their website FYI! 🙂
First of all, your eye makeup is stunning! What eyeshadows/liners did you use? Second, I really wish they didn’t include Blushed Copper in this palette. Anyone with a paler complexion really can’t use it; Opal seems like it would’ve been a better choice as it looks fabulous on all complexions.

That is a beautiful look on you christine!!! The copper color in particular also looks amazing on you!!
I actually think it was smart to include the copper tone. Opal is too close to champagne pop. And even though pale people can’t use the copper shade, it’s perfect for two things:
1. you can mix it with the other two shades to make them rosier
2. You can wear it over blush if you don’t have large pores.
I have this palette on the way! Btw, you are stunning, Christine! Wow….beautiful! I’m so glad I purchased it!
Thank you, Kelly!
Blushed Copper looks awesome on you. On deep skin it would be amazing! I hope they release Pearl as a single powder someday.
The rumor is in the spring!
Such a gorgeous looking trio. Could you please recomend a good highlighter for my NC 30 Indian skintone? I am too confused between Becca skin perfector and the Balm Mary lou Manizer. I prefer subtle highlighting.
Thanks
I think theBalm is slightly more subdued than Becca/a little easier to keep muted, but both are pretty obvious highlighters.
