Milani I Am Radiant, I Am Bold, I Am Strong Bold Matte Lipsticks Reviews & Swatches
I Am Radiant
Milani I Am Radiant Bold Color Statement Matte Lipstick ($6.99 for 0.14 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark rusty copper with warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had rich color payoff in a single layer, which adhered evenly and glided across my lips with ease. The consistency was lightweight, velvety, and had enough slip not to tug but didn’t slide around when worn. The color seemed to separate slightly along my deeper lip lines, though it wasn’t noticeable from a normal viewing distance. It wore well for four and a half hours on me and was non-drying.

Formula Overview
$6.99/0.14 oz. - $49.93 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be "bold, hydrating color" with "intense color in just one swipe." The finish is more of a "soft matte" to true satin (a little more sheen than "soft matte" to my eye), and the finish will wear down to a more matte finish within an hour or two of wear (or faster if one blots).
The texture felt lightweight, thinner on my lips but felt lightly creamy with more of a velvety slip as I glided the product across my lips. It didn't tug, but the product had good hold and wore between four and seven hours on me, depending on the shade.
In my experience, the more velvety slip seems to result in the color pulling away a bit more along my lip lines and can be more prone to accentuating any imperfections of my lips (texture, flakiness, and so forth). A few shades were on the drying side, while most were non-drying. The majority of the range was pigmented with payoff typically ranging between semi-opaque and opaque. The formula has a sweet, vanilla scent but no discernible taste to me.

I Am Bold
Milani I Am Bold Bold Color Statement Matte Lipstick ($6.99 for 0.14 oz.) is a rich, medium-dark raspberry pink with cool, bluish undertones and a satin finish. It had good pigmentation, though not quite opaque, even when I tried to build up the color, which I expect was due in part to it feeling more emollient and “sliding” more noticeably when applied. This was evidenced further by the slight streaking along the outer edges. There was a touch of product that sat in my deepest lip line (right along the center of my lower lip), but the color went on evenly and didn’t drag when applied from the tube. The lipstick stayed on well for six hours, was slightly drying over time, and left a faint, pinkish stain behind.

I Am Strong
Milani I Am Strong Bold Color Statement Matte Lipstick ($6.99 for 0.14 oz.) is a medium-dark burgundy red with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. It had semi-opaque color coverage that applied unevenly, especially along the inner portion of my lips, where it was noticeably patchy. The texture felt velvety, thin, and lightweight but didn’t feel clingy when worn. I expected it to settle into my lip lines a lot, but it was quite slight. This shade lasted well for five and a half hours, felt a touch drying over time, and left a subtle, reddish stain behind.

I Am Bold is really beautiful. I have quite a few similar shades, so Iām not (that) tempted.
I Am Radiant and I Am Bold are both lovely and different enough from anything else I presently own. I’m particularly drawn towards Radiant. It gives me a comfy sitting by a fireplace sipping a a hot mocha kind of feel!
Really love I am Radiant and I am Strong. Beautiful autumnal shades.
I Am Radiant looks like a decent dupe of KVD Studded Kiss in Lolita II. Perhaps a shade darker, but looks to be very similar!
