It definitely comes to personal preference. For the price point, feel and scent, I have to say MAC does it for me. I strongly dislike the scent of Rimmel and Maybelline lipsticks so I stopped buying them. Also I’m not crazy about the way Colourpop lipsticks feel on my lips. The most expensive brand I dabbled with lipsticks were NARS but it didn’t wow me enough to justify $30+. I’ve become less adventurous with my lipsticks (my wallet gives a sigh of relief!) and would rather buy 2-3 MAC lipsticks a year than keep exploring with 7-8 Colourpop/Drugstore lipsticks I end up giving away or throwing out.
Fave MAC ones– Creme in Your Coffee (I’m on my 3rd one) Brick-O-La (have a back-up), Hot Tahiti. “Capricious” is on my list for next year.
I forgot to mention I also really enjoy the new Vice Lipsticks. I got the UD Gwen Stefani shade Ex-Girlfriend last year and that was a Holy Grail for me. The non-Gwen version this year is a slightly different shade to I’m meh–moved on to the shade “Broken”, which is browner, and LOVE it!
Urban Decay Vice lipstick, Estee Lauder Hi-Luster Pure Color lipstick and Mac are my favorites.
Absolutely Besame. Their lipsticks are by far my favorite – the formula is just perfect.
I just received one their lipsticks the other week from my sister. She gave me the Tango Red and it is sensational.
MAC lipsticks make my lips flaky! I think I’m the only one. I think my favorite is Milani Color Statement

Bite Amuse Bouche, Hourglass Lip Stylo, and Nars Audacious.
I prefer NARS, Chanel, Guerlain, Bite, and Revlon. Armani and Hourglass are other solid picks. Clinique’s pop range is decent as is Smashbox Be Legendary.
MAC and Maybelline are definitely my favorites. I adore my NARS audacious lipsticks, but the price point is challenging.
MAC lipsticks all the way! My favourite finish is Satin but I’ll wear any of them, to be honest. Now that I’m a primer-user, I even like the Retro Matte Liquid Lipsticks!
Revlon and MAC are my favorite lipsticks. I don’t care for Urban Decay or Estee Lauder. I like the formula of Bite but I’m unimpressed with the color selection. NARS is nothing special. I like my Burberry lipstick but I don’t own enough to include as a favorite formula. I like the creamy formula of Maybelline. The smell doesn’t bother me as much as UD Vice!
I’ve been very impressed with the Bobbi Brown Luxe lipstick for creamy texture and possibly mild lip plumping.
I will get more from this line.
NYX Butter Lipstick is such a favorite, and highly complimented, that I’ve bought my favorite colors in multiple as backups.
Classic Revlon lipsticks are always in my current rotation.
My three favourite lipstick brands are: Maybelline Colour Sensational range; Milani Colour Statement lipsticks (alas some of my favourite shades have been discontinued) and the Clarins Jolie Rouge range.
I love the formula on Chanel Rouge Coco, Water Lauder Pure Color Envy and NARS Audacious lipsticks. Of course, MAC Lipsticks are always a favorite.
This is like picking a favorite dog or child. Truly cannot. But, if selection is by #s purchased…Nars (all) and bite (all.). Agree with Stephanie, though Besame has a perfect formula…but since they have fewer shades, I’ve accumulated fewer. Haven’t dared go to Rouge G. Too much switch up to go that high end. Most recent fave is the newest Tarte color splash or whatever…in the blue swirled tube. Would not have even swatched it, were it not for T.
My absolute #1 favorite is Dior Rouge Dior <3 Also, love the Chanel Rouge Coco and Le Rouge Crayon.
