These names appeal to my obsession with classic rock! And they don’t look terribly drying in your photos, so I’m eager to see what you think of them!

I’m excited for this collection! It doesn’t look drying or patchy & the packaging is just icing on the cake. Colors that caught my eye: Rock With You, Get It On, Just What I Needed, Slow Burn, Just Push Play

These look soooo dry and show up every lip line. Using a balm or lip oil, etc. to counteract the parched dryness seems to defeat the longer wear time this type of formula promises which is why I avoid them entirely after a few disappointing tries with this type of product.

Me too. It’s not a flattering look. And I think most people are over the matte lip thing now that they’ve found out how lip-crackingly drying they are. But the NARS Lip Tints are something fresh, comfortable, and really flattering. I’m glad I snagged those.

Oh man. I’m gonna be in trouble. There are 3 that I need 100% just from this… several more that I’m very interested in. Is it okay if I dip into my vacation fund for makeup? That’s okay right? I mean, I have to pay for the makeup all on my own, whereas the boyf pays half for the vacation. Yep, I’ve justified it to myself.

Walk This Way, Wild Night, Rock With You, Low Rider and Just What I Needed are calling out to me! These look very pigmented and most are very even, too. I love the color (and NAME of!) “London Calling”, but it looks *slightly* less even than the others shown.
If “Under My Thumb” wasn’t one of my ex’s favorite songs, I would love it.

Although it is one of the most misogynistic songs EVAH, it is a total classic. Rap, hip hop, etc. certainly don’t hold the monopoly on that type lyrics. Mick and Keith ‘dem bitches!’ Still, sentiment aside, it’s a total classic….and probably true to the way they treated their women, at least in those days. Hope your ex didn’t live out the anthem….

Under My Thumb and Rock With You are both beautiful. I also love London Calling but it looks a little too patchy for me. I will have to use with a balm as they appear pretty dry but if the colors work for me then I am willing to work with them. I need more lipsticks like I need a hole in my head, though.

Pretty colors, but the formula looks really dry on the lips to me, I mean I like a matte lipstick but not one that shows up every little line in your lips. I will say the darker colors don’t look as dry on the lips as the lighter/brighter colors (which are usually my fave). I think it’s a pass for me, but I’m still gonna read the reviews to see if maybe they aren’t as drying as they look to be.

Well for my reaction, let’s quote Jerry G: trouble ahead, trouble behind…. I really better wait for a mini collection for holiday. Bet they do one. What’s happening to me? I even like the pinks…but not the corals, lol. I’ll try the Mac, thanks, Nancy, though other balming has been successful thus far. Maybe ‘so in love with you am I.’ When it should be ‘first I look at the purse!’ Another trend that won’t die, along with highlighters and nude shadows. Not that I mind, now that I’ve learned how to wear them.

I like Don’t Stop , Give It Up, and Light My Fire. Love the names. The reviews I’ve seen say these aren’t drying on the lips and long lasting. Can’t wait to see the review!

The packaging, the colors, the fact that I immediately started singing the songs without realizing they were named after classic rock songs for a second there as I scrolled down, the gorgeous swatches, I’ll definitely need 4 of these minimum.

I completely love the names of the shades and I can’t read ‘Warm Leatherette” without doing it up properly in my head. Hells, I’m reading this post and singing tunes in my head..most of the shade names speak to me

Colour wise: I really like Under my Thumb, and London Calling (wish the swatches looked a little more rigorous on this shade).

I wonder how do these compare to NARS Pure Matte Lipstick which is one of the best matte formulas in my opinion.
In regards to shades I totally LOVE Get it on, Starwoman, Just Push Play, Under my Thumb and Rock with you! Hope the products to be as good as the colours.

Though there are beautiful shades here, especially Letherette, they do look dry and seem to accentuate lip lines so far. That would be a deal breaker.
