Yeyy! I have the burgundy and the purple times nine and those shadows are pretty much all I am wearing the past few weeks! Now I kind of want the semi sweet and the red hot!
It looks like there is going to be some duds on the solar glow? I’ll wait for your review!
OMG, I think the first kit (Semi Sweet) needs to be mine –all mattes and they all look good, including the best looking Carbon I’ve ever seen!!! That Carbon is a collectors item 😉
A few of the swatches seem a bit sheer and on the dustier side, but I do like the color combos in some of these palettes! Red-Hot Times Nine looks perfect for spring.
I like the Semi-Sweet one but I have the ABH MR palette so I’m good.

I like some of the LE shades, but unfortunately, none of the palettes sing to me enough to buy them. Which is a shame, because I like these x9 palettes.
Semi-Sweet, Solar Flare and Tropic Cool, I think. Love these little x 9s.

I like the Solar and Tropic palettes, but why do they have to be LE? It seems as though everything MAC releases these days is limited edition. I’m losing count!
Mel
I think MAC should invest in improving their products formula, instead of focusing in releasing 800 collections/month.

Too many mattes and the few shimmers look like they are very bad performing. So no palettes for me.
I am interested in the 15 shades palette if it is better.
Some of these look interesting but I’ve owned the Macnificent Me a/k/a Dusty Rose x 9 & Purple x 9. I like them both and they both have colors I really like but….I never reach fo either. Plus, is it just me but doesn’t it seem like MAC is really scrambling to stay relevant? So I’ll pass, especially since I’ll be purchasing all of Colourpop’s spring collection.
I see a few colours I like in each of them but not enough in any of them to purchase a single one of these. Cosmic looks a lot like Caviar Dreams in the way it showers down glitter everywhere. I wonder if Drawing a Blanc is meant as a replacement for Blanc Type, to placate all of us who really lament its passing and wonder at the sanity of those in charge at MAC for discontinuing it. Lover In Me and Shadowy Lady both look patchy and bad (I could be wrong, though). I have Soot as a pro pan – wonder how different it might be from the one pictured here. I do like the look of Persuade but I probably have a bunch of dupes for it. And CARBON???? AGAIN????
That first one seems rather reminiscent of the Viseart Warm Mattes palette. Also, Neoprene Green looks rather a lot like Jealousy Wakes. Some nice shades, though the luster finish ones look weaker than usual.
I have never really been attracted to MAC’s eyeshadow palettes and I am not in love with these either – lots of fallout from the glitter, patchy mattes and average shades……
Oh yes!!! Tropic Cool has that certain sumthin’ sumthin’ for my current crazy brights obsession! Neoprene Green, Liquid Sky, Lemon Rush, Bright Sided and Grey Horizon are the standout shades for me. Plus a second helping of Fresh Blade doesn’t hurt!
Red-Hot also looks amazing! But I think I may be set once I get the CP singles I’ve got my heart set in….maybe? ?
Tropic Cool and Red-Hot caught my eye…. I’m really liking the look of the quality of the shadows. I just need to confirm how many shades are LE in these palettes. 😉
Some of these color combos are really interesting, quality aside.

I love Red Hot, but I wish Tropic Cool had more green shadows in it. Take out Lemon Rush and Lady Gray, add another green and maybe an olive-y shade and I’d snap that puppy up in no time. As it is, Red Hot is probably the only one I’ll get from this collection.

I thought I was going to love the first one in this post but solar glow is actually my favorite out of these. None of them look like all 9 shades are stellar though, they all have some duds. It seems like about 6 shades are decently pigmented and then there are some that look super sheer or patchy.

Semi sweet is the only one I like from this bunch!
Everyone’s Darling is one of my favorite MAC eyeshadows, so of course I’m happy to see it featured in the palette 🙂

Color me unimpressed. 😐

It’s really too bad Solar Glow contains glitter bombs, I really like the colors in there…
Is it just me or semi-sweet looks a bit like a MAC take on ABH’s Modern Renaissance tones?
The usual mixed bag. That’s one of the better renditions of Carbon I’ve seen.
Neoprene Green reminds me of Jealousy Wakes!!
