Makeup Geek Plush Lip Matte ($12.00 for 0.06 fl. oz.) is a new, permanent formula. It’s a liquid lipstick that stays emollient while worn (it doesn’t dry down to a totally matte finish like more traditional liquid lipsticks do) and comes in a range of shades with some that are more unique in color. I, unfortunately, did not have a particularly good experience testing these as many shades made my lips feel raw after removing them, even though the consistency has a very smooth, velvety, and creamy feel initially. Some of the shades appeared grainy or emphasized the texture of my lips right away. I’d love to hear your thoughts if you’ve had a chance to try them!

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Some of these shades look truly amazing and unique, but I cannot get past the verrry teensy bit of product contained within or the raw sensation upon removal that you’ve described. That would be just awful as I have very sensitive lips. And with my dumb luck, it would likely happen to me. There must be some sort of bad ingredient in these.
