Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Looks like brands have been stepping up their games in neutral and metallic shadows. This is such a cool feature! I don’t remember seeing it before but I could have missed it, but is this one of the new features from the site redesign?

One thing I love is that this really puts you and your team’s work into perspective. It’s easy to forget just how much you all do, since we the readers just see it from the day to day side, but there’s no denying with 400 products reviewed! Plus the extra posts, like quizzes, sales, free for hauls, questions and opinions; whoever says a blogger’s job is easy needs a reality check.

It’s new! These are some of the little things that can be done now that the whole system has been redone (not just aesthetically but as far as code is concerned, it’s very different!). I could always compile something like this manually, but it would take days and subsequently, my time has always been best spent on reviews/swatches/photos. 🙂

I’ll be doing weekly, monthly, and quarterly recaps now on a regular basis!

Oh I really like this new feature!
One thing I will say is that I’d personally prefer it if palettes were ranked as single products instead of ranking the individual shades, but that may just be me, and this is still very helpful either way!

Wow, nearly 400 reviews in just ONE months time shows such a high level of professional dedication that no other site is doing! With the HUGE kicker being that you managed (somehow) to pull this off all while making a major move. WOW! Also love this new feature a bunch!

I really may *need* to invest in that Marc Jacobs palette. It looks to be the perfect neutral-ish palette ( except for the purples! ) Or the Viseart Paris Nudes (are those from PN or Sultry Muse, I forgot?) . Either or. Both are stunning!

I really like the “Month in Review” posts. It’s really awesome to see all the best rated products from the month it really focuses my wish list! Awesome idea!

I love everything about your website and will gladly take the good with the bad if it means having Temptalia as a resource, but may I second the opinion that I wish palettes made the list based on the complete palette rating and not eyeshadow singles.

I love this page, but many of the ones I’m clicking on turn out to be in palettes and I don’t want an entire palette. I usually buy singles. Would it be very easy to add something to the page indicating which ones are only sold in a palette?
I know it might be tricky with some palettes, like where the palette includes a mix of LE shades and permanent shades (the recent Nars blush palette).

Wow…great idea! I’m loving this new feature, Christine. Temptalia is my first stop when considering a product I haven’t seen in person. I can always count on you to be honest, your photos are great quality and your reviews are well-thought-out. Just a wonderful overall experience coming here. Keep up the great work!
