Pigmented Lipglosses | 2018 Editor's Favorites
I love a pigmented gloss, and I’m so glad that 2018 gave us a lot more finishes to choose from, whereas the previous couple of years felt very heavy on the matte lipsticks. There were some richer coverage formulas this year, like Too Faced Juicy Fruits Comfort Lip Glaze, MAC Grand Illusion Liquid Lipcolour, and NARS Full Vinyl Lip Lacquer, plus more shades in one of my favorite gloss formulas, NARS Velvet Lip Glide. I feel like I might have a “type” when it comes to more opaque gloss–copper, plum, mauve, and a few reds, haha!

I really like Rose Gold by Jouer and Yummy Rummy by Too Faced. There is a wide selection of shades here and from lots of different brands too.

My favorites I bought 2018: NARS Full Vinyl Lip Lacquer in Everglades, Cape Town, and Abruzzo; MAC x Grand Illusion Liquid Lipcolour in Ruby Princess; Too Faced Juicy Fruits Comfort Lip Glaze in Plum Crazy; MAC x Aaliyah 1 in a Million; MAC x Patrick Starrr Ride My Sleigh, Silent Night, and Queen P.
I definitely want to get more Too Faced Juicy Fruits in 2019.
I did get TF Yummy Rummy, and would say that it as well as UD Beso are 2 of my favorite pigmented lipglosses that I picked up this year even if neither one seems to like my lips! I still wear them, but always put a a week or two in between wearings. Other favorites of mine in this category are MAC x Aaliyah One In A Million and At Your Best You Are [Loved], and Grand Illusion It’s Just Candy.
I think I’ll be wearing more gloss this year, especially after seeing this list. omg.

The Be Legendary glosses by Smashbox are really nice and fully pigmented. I also love Bound by Nars.
How did I miss Melted Gold ??? Oooooo that is soooo hot! Definitely will be one on my list this year.
