MAC Autumn Russet, Dance All Night, Goldieloxxed Grand Illusion Liquid Lipcolours Reviews & Swatches
Autumn Russet
MAC Autumn Russet Grand Illusion Liquid Lipcolour ($21.00 for 0.17 oz.) is a medium copper with warm, reddish undertones and fine gold, pink, and copper pearl. It had semi-opaque pigmentation, which was slightly buildable, but it allowed my natural lip color to come through and resulted in a rosier tone to it than I think the color actually had on its own. The consistency was smooth, moderately sticky, and comfortable to wear, and the gloss didn’t well up in my lip lines. It wore well for four hours and was lightly hydrating over time.

Formula Overview
$21.00/0.17 oz. - $123.53 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to "wear evenly" with "megawatt colour" and have a "tingly, cooling sensation" that makes lips "fuller." The coverage ranged from shade to shade, though most were fairly pigmented, and some seemed more multidimensional than others (they seemed just shimmery/pearly). Some shades applied evenly while others were more uneven or pulled into lip lines.
The finish had a lot of shine and shimmer, so any unevenness/settling wasn't as apparent in person as it might appear in close-up photos. The consistency was smooth as it applied and developed a lot of tackiness within a minute or so of application, and the tingling lasted noticeably for 20-25 minutes on me. The glosses lasted between four and five hours on me and were comfortable to wear but was mostly non-drying.
They have a sweet, mint scent and subtle tingle and almost seemed to have a slightly sweet taste, but I couldn't tell as I felt like I was breathing in the sweet mint a bit from the scent alone.

Dance All Night
MAC Dance All Night Grand Illusion Liquid Lipcolour ($21.00 for 0.17 oz.) is a medium pink with subtle, cool undertones and a metallic, lightly glossy finish. The gloss had semi-opaque pigmentation with a smooth, light-medium thick consistency that was moderately tacky (took a few minutes to get there) but applied evenly across my lips and didn’t emphasize my lip lines. It stayed on well for four hours and was non-drying.

Goldieloxxed
MAC Goldieloxxed Grand Illusion Liquid Lipcolour ($21.00 for 0.17 oz.) is a medium bronze with warm, orange undertones and a glossy, metallic finish. It had semi-opaque color coverage in a single layer, which resulted in letting my natural lip color come through noticeably and made the color appear rosier. The gloss had a light-medium thickness but felt lightweight and comfortable to wear with a moderately sticky texture that was comfortable to wear and easy to spread across my lips. It wore well for four hours on me and was lightly hydrating.

I love the shade Autumn Russet but the mint is a no-no for my sensitive dry lips. Gotta go thru your dupe list
Awww, darn!! 🙁
And citral, linalool, limonene, geraniol, hexyl cinnamal….the list is endless. I’m getting very grouchy about all the ingredients that bother me above the neck!
It would be a beautiful shade on you. I hope you find a dupe that works for you.
These are REALLY pretty!
They are!
Not sure which one will win out in the end, but it’s currently a dead heat for me between Autumn Russet and Goldieloxxed! I’m leaning ever so slightly towards Autumn Russet because it really does give me a fall vibe. ?
Anything that has ‘Autumn Russet’ in its name has me interested – I like the coppery feel of the lipstick, but wish it were a bit bolder.
But I really don’t like the mint aspect at all.
What?! I can’t believe Mac chose this formula over Vamplify to make permanent.
Love all these but I think Russet would add more variety to my stash.
I think all three are very pretty, and the formula on par with the pigmented ABH and Huda Beauty lipglosses that I have. Dance All Night is my favorite of the bunch. It’s surprisingly more difficult to find a shimmery, mid-tone neutral to leaning-cool pink that isn’t super bright, too purple or glittery, than I’d expect. You can see the dupes aren’t really that close.
Originally had my eye on just huslin, but went in store and swatched them all on the back of my hand. Decided that from those hand swatches that they were completely different from what i expected, and decided on dance all night. Did a rushed online order, accidentally ordered party sparkle, and got really annoyed with myself. Then i looked at these lip swatches and realized i could have picked any of about 5 and will still end up with practically the same look as they are almost impossible to tell from each other
