I love lavender! All of your choices look like something I’d definitely wear! Thank you! I often wear it on my eyes, in a blush and lavender tinged nail polishes are my favorite everyday color. I also love grayish lavenders! Great post to refer to! I feel inspired to wear this color today! I think I might pick up that NARS Polish! Pretty! ??

I love the color lavender, but it’s surprisingly difficult for me to wear in a flattering way! It’s a bit too pink/red near my eyes, unless it has a lot of blue in it, and a bit too light on my lips. I should try more shades on my cheeks and nails! I do really like MUFE I918 Lavender — maybe I’ll try that as a blush, too — and I’d like to try Makeup Geek Daydreamer.

I only own 2 or 3 lavender polishes, but after seeing some of these swatches I might be able to pull off a lavender eyeshadow. Daydreamer and Violet seem like they would work for me, hopefully. I’ll be adding Kalymnos and Warm & Toasty Turtleneck to my polish collection too as I don’t have anything like them in my collection. I will definitely be swatching the NARS one before though.

I can wear lavender/purple hues in eyeshadow as long as I have a brown or black color to compliment it somewhere on the lid. On its own, on me, it looks too Studio 54 without those other colors! I can also wear it on my toes but not on my hands. And on my lips…yeah no. It’s too cool tone and doesn’t work with my fair yellow undertones complexion. Same goes for blush, not working with me. It’s a beautiful color!

Well, my wishlist for Makeup Geek keeps piling up as they have colors that don’t exist in my stash, so might be time to put in an order. Eyeing their lavenders, mints, pastels, duo chromes. Daydreamer looks very pretty. I also love Sephora Over the Moon blush, saw your review and ran to the store to grab the last one before it was DC’d. It’s a cool-toned pink with lavender undertones, goes well with 75% of my purple lippies and shadows.

I definitely tend to wear more “true” purple shades, but also have a thing for lavender, especially in eyeshadow! Definitely want MUG Mood Ring! Of ones in my stash already: MUFE Frosted Mauve I-916, MAC Crystal DC’d (WHY????), UD Hoodoo & Tonic, and Nyx Daffodil. Also, a nail polish: WnW Megalast is Bite The Bullet. The only lavender lipstick that has looked good on me that I’ve tried on is MAC Men Love Mystery. UD Bittersweet Blush looks way better on me than Colourpop Rain, though. So Men Love Mystery and Bittersweet are both on my wishlist!

All of it! Lavender (and purple) are my absolute favorite colors!!! I have and love Colour Pop Brills lippie and lip liner ! I have the colour pop eyeliner too but I feels it’s very summery so I’m waiting for warmer weather to try it out. And I love Clinique blush in pansy pop! At first I couldn’t get any color out of it (and I read a lot of people had the same issue) but then I tried it with a denser brush and now I can get a nice color on my cheeks. For eyeshadow I have Mac pigment in violet and a cream eyeshadow from Pupa which dries down matte and it’s super pigmented. Oh and 2 Inglot eyeshadows 114R and 441. 114R has 3 colors, YSL pure couture palette #5 and the Shiseido illuminzing trio in VI308. I love Lavender nails too!

Yep, I had the same issue with Pansy Pop! I finally had to take a small, very dense brush, drag it hard around the surface, then jab the brush against my cheeks to press the pigment in. I put up with the hassle because it’s such a beautiful lavender color, hard to find, and the daisy design is is so pretty.

NARS Jolie Poupee eyeshadow duo is amazing! Not only is the quality there (it goes on smoothly, pigmented, and even held up all day on my daughter during 90+° F/humid Halloween festivities-without primer), it’s a combo that looks good on any coloring/skintone. NARS doesn’t use a “white base” often used is lighter shades, so even deeper skintones can wear it. I’m neutral with cooler features, and my daughter is “golden” all the way around, and it is equally flattering. I’ve also seen it used on the deepest skin, and it’s just as stunning!

lavender happens to be my favorite color (not of makeup necessarily, just in general). my favorite lavender lipsticks are brills and koala by colourpop, coven and ayesha by kat von d, lavender by nyx, and I just ordered the disintegration lip tar but it hasn’t come yet.

Lavender is one of my favorite colors. My childhood bedroom was lavender and white and the color evokes wonderful memories for me. Lavender essential oil is a mainstay in my bedroom and bathroom. As a medium dark girl with neutral undertones, lavender e/s leans somewhat cool on my lids, but I wear it as a inner lid color with a brown smokey eye or as a pop of color in the center lid. I have MUFE lavender e/s I-918 and lavender shades in a few Mac quads. I wear lavender more frequently on my nails and lips. OCC Rollergirl, Mac’s Dodgy Girl, Asian Flower, Strutting Fabulous, Feed the Senses, Bite’s Cava, etc. OPI Lucky Lavender nail polish is a spring regular. I love grey lavender tones for nails & lips.

Love lavender/purple everywhere! My fav is Mac-men love mystery. Lavender is always nice on the nails, esp in the spring. I find lavender is probably one of the only colours I can do that is a pastel. As an eyeshadow, I usually need to pair it with another purple, just so it doesn’t look chalky.
