Skin Tone/Coloring: Light neutral skin tone, green eyes, dark hair with silver
Favorite Look Worn: I’ve used my new LORAC Pro Palette 4 over the past few days and I like all the different looks I’ve come up with. This palette will definitely be a workhorse for me. Here’s a look that I will use a lot for work: Brûlée in the crease (when used over primer, it looks darker than it does in the palette), Iced Rose on lid, Pecan in outer V, and Chantilly on brow bone; plus Marc Jacobs Highliner in (Brown)ie in upper lash line; Lancôme Teint Idole in Ivoire N 100; Dermablend Loose Setting Powder; Clinique Blushing Blush in Cupid; and MAC Amplified Lipstick in Craving. Plus my everyday usuals: Clinique Brow Shaper, ABH Brow Wiz, Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara, and Tarte Shape Tape Concealer.
Most Used Products: Other than my everyday usuals, my most used are the new LORAC palette and Lancôme Teint Idole in Ivoire N 100, which looks beautiful and lasts all day, but after using this foundation three days in a row, my face is suddenly breaking out. I don’t know if it’s the foundation or maybe just stress. I hope it’s not the foundation because I really, really like it.
New Beauty Discoveries: I am in love with the LORAC Pro Palette 4. I’m able to do so many different looks with it. I prefer the shades on the left half of the palette and find these shades to be easy to blend and nicely pigmented. It’s important to note that I use them directly over NYX Proof It Waterproof Eyeshadow Primer, rather than the primer that came with the palette. Also, I want to make a quick mention of the lovely, descriptive shade names in this palette.
When I said left half of the palette that wasn’t quite true, because I also love the shades Warm Ginger and Candlelight, which are technically in the right half. Just wanted to clarify.
That link for the favorites isn’t working for me so I can’t see it ?♀️
Fixed!
My skin tone/coloring: Very fair with neutral undertones; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.
Favorite look you’ve worn: EYES — UD Naked Basics Palette: Naked 2 (crease), Venus (brow bone); ColourPop Golden State of Mind Palette: Can’t Stop (foiled on lids). ABH e/s single in Love Letter (brows). Physician’s Formula Eye Booster eyeliner pen (winged liner on upper lid); NYX Worth the Hype Mascara. CHEEKS — Physician’s Formula Butter Blush in Plum Rose. I also used it around my hairline. LIPS — NYX Butter Lipstick in Big Cherry. FACE — NYX Angel Veil primer; BH Cosmetics Naturally Flawless Foundation in Ivory; RCMA No Color Powder; Sephora Tranquil (contour); City Color Cosmetics Intense Exposure Highlighting Powder; e.l.f. Original Mist & Set.
Most used product of the week: MAC Blush in Pink Cult; liquid lipsticks (it’s been in the 90s F here all most of the week).
Any new beauty discoveries: I’m really in love with MAC x Aaliyah Street Thing Lipstick. It’s a perfect sheer summer glitter-goth kind of shade.
My skin tone/coloring: fair, cool
Favorite look you wore: I’ve been keeping it simple as it’s been very hot here and I’ve been going to the gym a lot – sunscreen, concealer (IT BBU but the one in the double ended doe foot tube – it’s got a creamier, more “liquid-y” texture than the one in the squeeze tube); Stila Bubbly on my lids and MAC Cork in the crease; Sephora Cappuccino liner, IT CC Radiance Blush and MAC Craving lipstick (trying to finish a tube so I can B2M
Most used product of the week: IT CC Radiance blush and Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer (which amazes me)
Any new beauty discoveries: just how much I love the shadow Salt from the new-ish UD Beached palette.
MAC Craving was in my favorite look this week, too! I love this shade.
My skin tone/coloring: fair/cool skin (foundation matches: L’Oreal True Match C3 Creamy Natural, Urban Decay All Nighter 2.5, NARS Natural Radiant Longwear 2.0 Mont Blanc, Kevyn Aucoin The Etherealist Light EF 2), gray eyes, brown hair with red highlights and scattered blonde and blue strands
Favorite look you worn (note: this has been a hectic week and I’ve recreated this one from memory as best I can): Thursday-Urban Decay Gonzo and Fringe layered, Sephora V for Volume Turquoise League mascara, NARS Satellite of Love highlighting blush, Sephora Lipstories Hong Kong by Night lipstick
Most used product of the week: My usual base products.
Any new beauty discoveries:
Forgot to add my beauty discovery-turquoise eye makeup and red lipstick look great together, especially when the lipstick’s metallic!
