Comments that do not adhere to our comment policy may be removed. Discussion and debate are highly encouraged but we expect community members to participate respectfully. Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

My favorite two looks of the week came from the UD Vice 4 palette (again!). On Monday I did this smokey purple eye look https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ZHmGN4vZIlU&sns=em, paired it with MAC’s Taraji lipstick and gloss combo, and it turned out like this https://instagram.com/p/BROdacJhC2f/

I could not capture the beauty of the second Vice 4 look on camera but I love it nevertheless. I used this video tutorial https://youtu.be/jVzOYvoJneU and it turned out like this https://instagram.com/p/BROfOnjhS4c/

Also did one of my favorite “soft” looks using NARS Eyeshadow duo in St Paul De Vence and Audacious lipstick in Brigitte.

Friday I wore Tom Ford’s Cocoa Mirage on my eyes and did an ombré lip using UD’s Vice Lipstick in 1993, Marc Jacob’s Liquid Lip Cream in Fawn Over Me, and Buxom’s White Russian Lip gloss. The ombré Lip lost its definition after I applied the gloss, but still a nice combination https://instagram.com/p/BROgmJZhby_/

What caught my eye: I want another Marc Jacob’s Liquid Lip Cream, I don’t know what color next because I want them all!

I had no interest in the new Anastasia Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit until I saw Christine’s swatches and look, and now I want it very much!

MAC Eyeshadows in heavy rotation this week esp browns like Twinks, Mulch & Swiss Chocolate. Been eyeing dupes for discontinued MAC eyeshadows and blushes!

In my rotation most this week? Shopping my stash! Esp. oldies but goodies, like Chanel Empriente du Desert (not that old!) and also many of my MAC eyeshadow singles like Woodwinked, Antiqued, Folie and Soft Brown yesterday with Nyx Burnt Sienna Faux Black e/l. Wore Nyx Synthetica on my cheeks and MAC x Star Trek WNMHGB lipstick and CP Wolfie lipgloss very lightly. Forgot to take pics, which is a shame since this look gave me a tropical vacay type of natural, yet intense look!
What caught my eye? The new Makeup Geek lip glosses!!!! And Colourpop’ s spring eyeshadow shades and tie-dye highlighters. Can hardly wait to get the 8 eyeshadows I ordered from CP!

What’s been in your rotation the most this week? My Nyx Avant Pop Palettes, Nyx Matte Lipstick in Up the Bass, Maybelline Color Sensational The Loaded Bolds Lipstick in Gone Greige, and Mudusa’s Make-up Blush in Dangerous Liaison is still going strong.

What caught your eye? Bite Beauty Prismatic Pearl Cream Lip Gloss in Peacock Pearl: I ended up ordering it and it arrived yesterday. 🙂 MUG foiled glosses.

In my rotation this week has been Lancome’s quint Sparkling Intoxication. It has a lovely teal, gold, sage, base colour and teal/black eyeliner. I had forgotten how beautiful it was.

What caught my eye – the Colour Pop Sideline shade – so beautiful.

Genevieve, I love the LANCOME Color Design 5 color palettes! I own 6 or 7, but my all time favorites are Teal Fury and Lavender Grace. I will be picking up Olive Soleil later this month when LANCOME goes into gift at Bergner’s later this month. I am going into work today so I will have to take a peek at Sparking Intoxication (I moonlight at the cosmetics counter on the weekends, during the week I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker).

I own a few of the Lancome quints as well. My other favourite is the Jade Fever. I looked at getting Teal Fury – beautiful shades too.
Your job as a Clinical Social worker would be quite demanding, I would think and with budget cuts being the flavour of year, there would not be enough of people like you.

What’s been in your rotation the most this week?
MUG eyeshadows – I redid my palettes last weekend and made 1 with all neutrals and the other with foiled, shimmery and bold colors. I’ve been trying to break out of my comfort zone of my planned look for the week because while having everything all planned fir the week gives me more time to enjoy putting the makeup on, I keep using my favorites instead of other things in my stash. I like sticking to one brand for an eye look for the most part so this week it was MUG shadows.

What caught your eye?

Tom Ford Skin Illuminating Primer – really like this. I have a few samples and have been using them up. When I finish with all of my MAC Strobe Cream samples, I’m going to order the Tom Ford primer.

MAC Lustre Drops. I just ordered these last night and I’m excited for them to arrive so that I can experiment with them. They might be a bit too glowy for the face so I’m looking forward to putting them in lotions for an all over body glow.

What’s been in your rotation most this week? Tarte Happy Girls Shine Brighter Eyeshadow Palette. What caught your eye? Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla 2. I had it on a sample card that came with a lipstick order, and it really did brighten my undereye area.
