Viseart Enamored Theory Cheek Palette

Enamored

Viseart Enamored Theory Cheek Palette ($45.00 for 0.32 oz.) includes a highlighter, blush, and bronzer. Per the description, the bronzer is actually listed as “sheer bronzer,” which is good, given it was quite sheer. For reference, the blush formula is also a “sheer to fuller coverage” product–sheer but buildable. I have found that Viseart’s more matte/satin cheek powders apply a lot better than they look on my arm. Ultimately, they apply better in thinner, more gradual layers than applied more heavily and then blended out. If you aren’t a fan of sheerer blushes and bronzers, I don’t think that the Viseart formula is ideal for you, even though they are certainly buildable.

Viseart Enamored (Highlight) Highlighter

Enamored (Highlight)

Enamored (Highlighter) is a very light pink with subtle, warm undertones and a luminous sheen. It actually seemed more metallic initially, but once I started to apply and blend out the highlighter on my cheeks, it wasn’t quite as intense as I thought and ended up being very smooth in its sheen, so it did not emphasize my skin’s natural texture. It had good pigmentation, which was easy to use with a lighter hand or applied normally for more true-to-pan color. The texture was soft, blendable, and denser without being so firm that it became difficult to use. It lasted for eight hours on my cheeks before fading.

Viseart Enamored (Blush) Blush

Enamored (Blush)

Enamored (Blush) is a muted, medium-dark plum with neutral-to-warm undertones and a matte finish. The consistency was rather odd; it wasn’t firm, but the powder came away in small clumps that then broke apart into a more finely-milled powder very easily. It had semi-sheer, buildable coverage–up to semi-opaque coverage–that worked best over lightly powdered skin for me, which seemed to help it blend better and sit more seamlessly on the skin. The blush was fairly easy to work with and blend out, and it wore well for eight hours on me.

Viseart Enamored (Bronzer) Bronzer

Enamored (Bronzer)

Enamored (Bronzer) is a soft, medium brown with warm, golden undertones and a satin finish. The texture was drier and also released in slight chunks to me, which quickly dispersed into that finely-milled texture the brand describes for the formula. It was buildable from sheer to medium coverage (three layers), and the layers applied easily, blended nicely, and never looked powdery or caky, even after three or four layers of product. The bronzer stayed on well for eight hours before fading.

Got black honey pop @ CCO. The bronzer doesn’t appeal, as Laguna and company look too yellow. (I think the red aspect cancels, with my undertone…) Pass. Somewhat glad Viseart isn’t churning out must-haves for me, tbh.

I own several of the Viseart cheek palettes and Contour palette and yes they do swatch horribly but apply so so beautifully on me. Definitely pigmented but they blend so easily that you can sheer them out very nicely as well, so these new palettes are going home with me definitely.

I don’t know… I think it’s the best color combination for my skintone, but I see the blush applies patchy on you. Such a pity. I would like to try some face powders from Viseart (I have only eyeshadows until now). Which face palette would you recommend to start with?
