Urban Decay Nooner Naked Flushed Cheek Palette Review, Photos, Swatches
Nooner
Urban Decay Nooner Naked Flushed Cheek Palette ($34.00 for 0.49 oz.) includes a bronzer, highlighter, and blush poured into a single pan (so each shade does touch!) with the bronzer taking up the most space and the highlighter taking up the least. Each shade is supposed to be “intensely pigmented” and “blend beautifully.” The highlighter was the highest performing shade out of the trio, while the blush was the least, though as long as you don’t mind less pigmented (but buildable) blush, it may still work well for you.

Nooner (Bronzer)
Nooner (Bronzer) is a medium-dark terracotta brown with warm, red undertones and a matte finish. It had good color payoff with a soft, fairly blendable texture that wasn’t too powdery or too firm in the pan. The bronzer could have blended just a smidgen more easily on the skin, but it did not take too much extra effort. The bronzer wore well for eight hours before fading on my cheeks.

Nooner (Highlighter)
Nooner (Highlighter) is a light, golden beige with warm undertones and a frosted sheen. It was intensely pigmented with a smooth, almost cream-like texture that was denser but not firm or stiff to use. I had no trouble picking up the product on my brush–I’d argue more than necessary for a moderate highlight, so I’d actually recommend to use a lighter hand initially. The highlighter stayed on well for eight hours.

Nooner (Blush)
Nooner (Blush) is a muted, medium-dark pink with cool, blue undertones and a satin finish. It had medium, buildable coverage that layered well on the skin and sat nicely without looking too flat. The powder had a more powdery consistency compared to the bronzer and the highlighter, which made it messy to work with in the pan (and as all the shades are connected, if you want to keep each shade individually usable, dust away the excess before closing). It wore well for seven and a half hours on me.

Likey!
Yay!
If the blush performed a little better, and the bronzer and highlighter were cooler-toned (although at least they’re not orange-toned!), I would like this.
The formula for the blushes seemed to be a little underwhelming on these trios 🙁
The colors look very similar to those in my UD Naked on the Run palette. No surprise, I guess.
They are similar!
The colors aren’t exactly ground-breaking, although the pink is very pretty, but it’s handy to have all 3 in one kit, and the overall score’s pretty decent
Definitely nothing new!
I think I’d use that bronzer as a blush colour!
Awesome!
I can never use bronzer so I’m hoping one of the 3 new NAKED Flushed palettes has a contour in it. lol
This one I do like the blush and highlighter in it.
Swatches of all three of the new ones are in the gallery, and I wouldn’t say any of the bronzers are contour-esque 🙁
Sad… if you’re going to expand so much at least make a pale girl friendly one. lol
Not bad. But I’m not a huge fan of these all-in-one type palettes as they can really get messy. But the blush shade is quite pretty, though, so perhaps a dupe of that!
Same here, Nancy! I don’t mind when they are in their own pans, but a shared pan? Eh!
I had one of the palettes, I think in Native, but it was stolen. I really loved all the colors and how smooth and blendable it was, but the blush and contour would fade in 3-4 hours. It made me nervous about the longevity of Urban Decay blushes so I haven’t bought any others since then.
Three to four hours? That’s bad! That would make me nervous.
I think the formula is different between the blush/highlighter singles vs. Native, but I do feel like the new trios (like this one) are more in line with their single range in terms of feel/texture.
I was looking at this exact cheek pallet on the urban decay website this morning!!! I’m glad it got a decent rating!
I may look into this for traveling, or even everyday use!
It would work well for traveling!
I didn’t like the last Flushed palette I bought. Easy skip for me.
It seemed slightly better in texture compared to the original ones they came out with!
That’s good to hear.
OOH. I have this set in Native and I use it basically every day; I wonder if I should grab this one too. I love the look of the bronzer.
Ooh, nice!
I’m not a fan of the bronzer/highlighter/blush palettes. There will always be one part that will remain after the others are used up in my case the bronzers will always be left untouched.
I do like the blush and the highlighter in this palette, but it’s an easy pass.
Definitely not a good buy if you wouldn’t use all three shades!
I really like this little palette, the bronzer looks like it could work as a summer blush if lightly applied (for fair skins), most bronzers are too dark or orange for my fair skin but this one might just work.
It could work on fair skin!
They are quite ‘bright’ shades and would certainly work for mid tone complexions, I think. Very pretty.
I think so!
Nice palette to have on the go. I have dupes for the bronzer and highlighter though interestingly not the blusher.
It would work well for traveling/a makeup bag!
I really considered buying this because of the bronzer color, but I’m just turned off by the pinkness of the blush. I feel like I would use the highlighter and bronzer almost daily but since the blush is right in the middle it would be hard to work around. Visually everything packed in one pan look so appealing but using it would be a muddled mess. Especially if I’m in a rush.
Yeah, it is harder to use everything individually, especially the highlighter as it is so thin!
I’m not sure why, but as much as I love Urban Decay, I’ve just never been drawn to their blush/bronze/highlighter palettes. Maybe the colors, maybe the single pan for all three colors. IDK. But as normal, I love your eye look Christine.
Thank you, Shari! 🙂
I prefer their standalone blush/highlighter formula!
If I’m going to use a warm bronzer, red isn’t bad. I actually like this overall. I might consider it. It’s not something i need right now, so it’s not going to be high on the list.
I like rosy bronzers, too!
