Nooner

Urban Decay Nooner Naked Flushed Cheek Palette ($34.00 for 0.49 oz.) includes a bronzer, highlighter, and blush poured into a single pan (so each shade does touch!) with the bronzer taking up the most space and the highlighter taking up the least. Each shade is supposed to be “intensely pigmented” and “blend beautifully.” The highlighter was the highest performing shade out of the trio, while the blush was the least, though as long as you don’t mind less pigmented (but buildable) blush, it may still work well for you.

Nooner (Bronzer)

Nooner (Bronzer) is a medium-dark terracotta brown with warm, red undertones and a matte finish. It had good color payoff with a soft, fairly blendable texture that wasn’t too powdery or too firm in the pan. The bronzer could have blended just a smidgen more easily on the skin, but it did not take too much extra effort. The bronzer wore well for eight hours before fading on my cheeks.

Nooner (Highlighter)

Nooner (Highlighter) is a light, golden beige with warm undertones and a frosted sheen. It was intensely pigmented with a smooth, almost cream-like texture that was denser but not firm or stiff to use. I had no trouble picking up the product on my brush–I’d argue more than necessary for a moderate highlight, so I’d actually recommend to use a lighter hand initially. The highlighter stayed on well for eight hours.

Nooner (Blush)

Nooner (Blush) is a muted, medium-dark pink with cool, blue undertones and a satin finish. It had medium, buildable coverage that layered well on the skin and sat nicely without looking too flat. The powder had a more powdery consistency compared to the bronzer and the highlighter, which made it messy to work with in the pan (and as all the shades are connected, if you want to keep each shade individually usable, dust away the excess before closing). It wore well for seven and a half hours on me.

The colors aren’t exactly ground-breaking, although the pink is very pretty, but it’s handy to have all 3 in one kit, and the overall score’s pretty decent

I had one of the palettes, I think in Native, but it was stolen. I really loved all the colors and how smooth and blendable it was, but the blush and contour would fade in 3-4 hours. It made me nervous about the longevity of Urban Decay blushes so I haven’t bought any others since then.

Three to four hours? That’s bad! That would make me nervous.

I think the formula is different between the blush/highlighter singles vs. Native, but I do feel like the new trios (like this one) are more in line with their single range in terms of feel/texture.

I really like this little palette, the bronzer looks like it could work as a summer blush if lightly applied (for fair skins), most bronzers are too dark or orange for my fair skin but this one might just work.

I really considered buying this because of the bronzer color, but I’m just turned off by the pinkness of the blush. I feel like I would use the highlighter and bronzer almost daily but since the blush is right in the middle it would be hard to work around. Visually everything packed in one pan look so appealing but using it would be a muddled mess. Especially if I’m in a rush.

I’m not sure why, but as much as I love Urban Decay, I’ve just never been drawn to their blush/bronze/highlighter palettes. Maybe the colors, maybe the single pan for all three colors. IDK. But as normal, I love your eye look Christine.
