Comments that do not adhere to our comment policy may be removed. Discussion and debate are highly encouraged but we expect community members to participate respectfully. Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

My skin tone/coloring: fair, cool
Favorite look you wore: with our house in such disarray, a lot of my makeup isn’t accessible (fortunately, a lot of it still is, though). I really liked using the UD Born to Run Palette and I’ve used it a lot this week – Breakaway or Weekender all over the lid (lash to brow) with either Blaze or Stranded on the mobile lid and Good as Gone or Punk on the outer 1/3 of my mobile lids and in the crease. Lise Watier powder foundation, MAC Sweet Sentiment blush, Sephora Cappuccino liner (I can’t get at my sharpeners, though, so may have to switch to another liner) and Marc Jacobs skinny liner on upper waterline; MAC Craving or MUFE Copper Pink (just because it’s near at hand) for lips.
Most used product of the week: probably the UD Born to Run palette
Any new beauty discoveries: none that I can think of.

My skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones

Favourite look you wore: Anastasia Sultry palette – Cyborg on the lid, with a touch of Slate in the crease and a touch of burgundy, from Maybelline’s Burgundy Bar on the lower lid. I paired it with EA’s Cranberry Cream lipstick. Very happy with the result.

Most used product of the week: Anastasia Sultry palette.

Any new beauty discoveries: Yes, that the Sultry palette works really well with pops of colour from other palettes that I own.

My skin tone/coloring: light, MAC NC 15-20, med brown hair and eyes

Favorite look you wore:
Too Faced Natural Matte Eyes (old formula). Strapless and Chocolate Cookie in the crease. Copper from MAC Mineralize Eyeshadow Duo in Spiced Metal on eyelid. Korres Volcanic Minerals Long Lasting Eyeliner in Brown on top lashline. Tarte Lights, Camera and Lashes Mascara. Laura Geller Vivid Baked Gelato Blush in Cataloupe

Most used product of the week:
MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation. Palladio Pressed Rice Mattifying Powder in Natural. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Ethereal. Loreal True Match Concealer in fair. Laura Geller Vivid Baked Gelato Blush in Cataloupe. MAC Veluxe Brow Pencil in Fling. Tarte Lights, Camera and Lashes Mascara. KorresVolcanic Minerals Long Lasting Eyeliner in Brown. MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Soft Ochre. Wet n Wild Coloricon Eyeshadow in Creme Brulee. Too Faced Natural Matte Eyeshadow Palette.

Any new beauty discoveries: Too Faced Natural Matte Eyeshadow Palette. I picked it up at the CCO. Love the color Strapless!

Just a quick comment as I haven’t really worn any makeup this week. My brother had bilateral hip replacement surgery and as the nurse in the family I have been tied up taking care of him. He came through surgery well and did great in the hospital but I brought him home today and a three hour car ride was pretty tough for him and even more so was trying to get out of the car after sitting that long. He is pretty miserable but modern pharmacology to the rescue and a couple of pain pills, muscle relaxer and anti-inflammatory and he is sleeping right now.
So, didn’t wear any makeup besides cushion foundation and lip balm all week. I did pick up a couple of things at Ulta while in town and will list them in next weeks haul but since there was an eye shadow palette I will try and wear it this week.

My most used product of the week would be the RiRe cushion foundation and my Nuxe lip balm. I also added another moisturizer to my skin routine as the winter blast has been picking up steam and was worse in Missoula than where I live. I decided to try Tula as I have been enjoying the cleanser as my second step cleanse and the 10% Resurfacing Gel for my morning routine. So far I am liking the moisturizer but only been 2 days.

Hope he starts feeling better soon, Deborah! I’m confident with you by his side it’ll go as smoothly as possible for him, but it’s obviously a big surgery!

Thank you, Christine. He will do well but it is hard having them both done at the same time. That isn’t something we did back in the day and I am not sure I am thrilled with doing it now. Insurance companies want to pay the minimum and for both hips it is a 2 day stay. Really ridiculous as he could use a bed that helps him get up and a trapeze over the bed to facilitate the movement which are all available at the hospital. I wish insurance executives had to leave the hospital 2 days after having both hips replaced. Anyway, he will get through it and will be in better shape afterwards.

Thank you Rachel. He may be happy in the future but not right now. Making him get up and walk and do exercises that physical therapy gave him when he just wants to lie in the same position is not making him happy. I told him he would thank me in the long run. Hope all is well with you.

𝐌𝐲 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞/𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠: Very fair with neutral undetones; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.

𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐞: 𝙀𝙔𝙀𝙎– UD Primer Potion in Enigma. Too Faced Gingerbread Spice Palette: Warm & Toasty (lid), Spice is Nice (crease), Reindeer Paws (darken out corners of crease and lid, and smudged under lower lashline), Spiked Eggnog (brow bone). ABH e/s single in Love Letter (brows). E.l.f. Blush in Gotta Glow (inner corner). UD 24/7 Eye Pencil in Roach (lower lashline) and Perversion (upper and lower waterlines). Pacifica Dream Big Mascara. 𝙇𝙄𝙋𝙎 — MAC Lipstick in Shimmer & Spice over BH Cosmetics Waterproof Lipliner in Peachy. 𝘾𝙃𝙀𝙀𝙆𝙎 — NARS X Man Ray Blush in Fetishized. 𝙁𝘼𝘾𝙀 — NYX Angel Veil Skin Perfecting Primer; BH Cosmetics Naturally Flawless Foundation in Ivory; Ben Nye Netural Set Colorless Powder; Sephora Tranquil (contour); e.l.f. 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤: Too Faced Gingerbread Spice Palette + my dailies

𝐀𝐧𝐲 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬: BH Cosmetics Zodiac Love Signs Palette is gorgeous. I’ve only got to swatch it so far, but it seems as good as the original. The rose-red matte shade is stunning!
