Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

My skin tone/coloring: fair, cool
Favorite look you wore: with our house in such disarray, a lot of my makeup isn’t accessible (fortunately, a lot of it still is, though). I really liked using the UD Born to Run Palette and I’ve used it a lot this week – Breakaway or Weekender all over the lid (lash to brow) with either Blaze or Stranded on the mobile lid and Good as Gone or Punk on the outer 1/3 of my mobile lids and in the crease. Lise Watier powder foundation, MAC Sweet Sentiment blush, Sephora Cappuccino liner (I can’t get at my sharpeners, though, so may have to switch to another liner) and Marc Jacobs skinny liner on upper waterline; MAC Craving or MUFE Copper Pink (just because it’s near at hand) for lips.
Most used product of the week: probably the UD Born to Run palette
Any new beauty discoveries: none that I can think of.

My skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones

Favourite look you wore: Anastasia Sultry palette – Cyborg on the lid, with a touch of Slate in the crease and a touch of burgundy, from Maybelline’s Burgundy Bar on the lower lid. I paired it with EA’s Cranberry Cream lipstick. Very happy with the result.

Most used product of the week: Anastasia Sultry palette.

Any new beauty discoveries: Yes, that the Sultry palette works really well with pops of colour from other palettes that I own.

Just a quick comment as I haven’t really worn any makeup this week. My brother had bilateral hip replacement surgery and as the nurse in the family I have been tied up taking care of him. He came through surgery well and did great in the hospital but I brought him home today and a three hour car ride was pretty tough for him and even more so was trying to get out of the car after sitting that long. He is pretty miserable but modern pharmacology to the rescue and a couple of pain pills, muscle relaxer and anti-inflammatory and he is sleeping right now.
So, didn’t wear any makeup besides cushion foundation and lip balm all week. I did pick up a couple of things at Ulta while in town and will list them in next weeks haul but since there was an eye shadow palette I will try and wear it this week.

My most used product of the week would be the RiRe cushion foundation and my Nuxe lip balm. I also added another moisturizer to my skin routine as the winter blast has been picking up steam and was worse in Missoula than where I live. I decided to try Tula as I have been enjoying the cleanser as my second step cleanse and the 10% Resurfacing Gel for my morning routine. So far I am liking the moisturizer but only been 2 days.

Thank you, Christine. He will do well but it is hard having them both done at the same time. That isn’t something we did back in the day and I am not sure I am thrilled with doing it now. Insurance companies want to pay the minimum and for both hips it is a 2 day stay. Really ridiculous as he could use a bed that helps him get up and a trapeze over the bed to facilitate the movement which are all available at the hospital. I wish insurance executives had to leave the hospital 2 days after having both hips replaced. Anyway, he will get through it and will be in better shape afterwards.

Thank you Rachel. He may be happy in the future but not right now. Making him get up and walk and do exercises that physical therapy gave him when he just wants to lie in the same position is not making him happy. I told him he would thank me in the long run. Hope all is well with you.
