Tom Ford Megeve Soleil Glow Stick Review & Swatches
Megeve (03)
Tom Ford Beauty Megeve (03) Highlighter & Blush Glow Stick ($55.00 for 0.35 oz.) includes a soft, peachy copper highlighter and a muted, medium coral blush. Both shades were easy to work with; they applied and blended out with ease, while they had a dewy sheen that lasted for a good nine hours before starting to fade visibly. The highlighter had a more translucent base, while the blush was quite pigmented.

Megeve (03)
LELimited Edition. $55.00.
Megeve (Highlighter)
Megeve (Highlighter) is a light, peachy copper with warm undertones and a dewy, pearly finish. It had medium to semi-opaque coverage (see the angled swatched as the base color seemed to get lost on my skin tone) in a single layer, directly from the tube. It could be built up slightly but the base did seem to be more translucent than some of the other shades.
The highlighter had a creamy, balm-like consistency that had moderate slip but felt a bit gel-like, which gave it the spreadability needed to glide across bare skin or over foundation. It applied evenly and blended out nicely without lifting up base products or sinking into my pores. It wore well for nine hours with minimal fading and was still dewy and shimmery after 12 hours of wear (without becoming patchy).

Formula Overview
-
The formula is supposed to give a "luminous look year-round" with an "effortless application." It is a dual-ended, cream-based twist-up formula that gives a "perfect lustrous glow" for the highlighting side and a "pop of go-anywhere color" as the blushing side. Most shades had semi-opaque to opaque coverage, but the more emollient consistency made them spreadable and blendable. I had no trouble applying and blending out the product over bare skin, and patted over foundation (I used fingertips) worked well for me (I tried it with Too Faced Born This Way and Chanel Ultra Le Teint Velvet).
The formula is very dewy and luminous without a real dry down, so if you're someone who tends to touch their face or needs to pull off a sweater, it's not at all transfer-resistant. On me, while noticeably dewy throughout the day, the product stayed in place well for nine hours and was still mostly in place after 12 hours of wear. It can be lightly set--just barely dusted with translucent powder--and still have some of the dewiness visible. It wore similarly over foundation and did not seem to breakdown my foundation any faster.

LELimited Edition.
Megeve (Blush)
Megeve (Blush) is a soft, muted coral with warm undertones and a dewy sheen. The pigmentation was nearly opaque in a single layer, while the texture was lightweight, creamy and balm-like with moderate slip but had a gel-like quality to it that helped it spread easily over bare skin and on top of foundation. I preferred applying with my fingertips, as they’re more efficient and faster for me, but it worked well with a brush if preferred.
The color applied evenly and blended out easily for a very, stained-like appearance. The formula doesn’t have a dry down, so it remained very shiny and dewy and isn’t transfer-resistant. Surprisingly, though, the color has excellent wear; it started to look faded after nine hours of wear but still had the majority in tact–85%–after 12 hours of wear.

I love the shades in this duo, absolutely perfect for me – and it’s not often that I can say that!
Looks so pretty on you, Christine – very luminous but also natural.
I’m crazy about this duo! Something about these soft, more low-key copper tones has caught my eye….and possibly my ?
