Salt New York Spice is a very warm-toned, medium plum with a natural finish. It is a permanent blush that retails for $16.00 and contains 0.15 oz.

Editor's Review

($16.00 for 0.15 oz.) is a slightly muted, medium-dark coral with strong, warm undertones and a natural sheen. It was almost like a very warm-toned plum to my eye, but it seemed better categorized as a coral overall.

The texture was lightweight, emollient, and a little gel-like, which gave it great slip without being prone to picking up foundation when applied on skin (even with fingertips). It had sheer, buildable coverage--semi-opaque after three layers--that blended out easily on my cheeks. It wore well for seven and a half hours before moving noticeably as a cheek color.

As a lip product, it had sheer, buildable color coverage that applied evenly and just slightly emphasized the natural texture of my lips but was one of the better-performing shades on my lips from the range. It only lasted for two hours as a lip product, though, and felt neither drying nor hydrating.

Claims / Ingredients

Hydrating but not glossy, the perfect flush of color for people allergic to looking like they tried. While I was creating them I grouped them together as two light, two medium, and two deep colors with a warm and a cool option for each pairing, but feel free to mix and match them however you like. Each formula is buttery soft, easy to blend, and offers sheer, buildable coverage with a soft, skin-like finish. They're chock full of nourishing, hydrating, credit score raising ingredients like pomegranate, jojoba, & grape seed oils, and contain absolutely zero nonsense ingredients like talc, fragrance, or mineral oil.
