I’ve been particularly impressed by Tom Ford’s blush formula in the past, but I was a little disappointed in Frantic Pink. It’s not bad; it’s even really good. It’s just not as amazing as the other shades have been.  The texture is soft but very powdery, so it feels a little dry and doesn’t sit as nicely on the skin as the other shades.  It was still easy to blend, which I’d expect with such a soft texture and light color.  This one is less shimmery, though, compared to some of the other colors in the line-up.  It’s a lighter color, period, so it’s not going to show up well on medium to dark skin tones.  The color is very much what you see in the pan.  I was only able to get good wear out of this for eight hours, which is good, but other shades have yielded longer than that.

On the upside, Tom Ford gives plenty of product for the hefty price tag; it’s higher than average and definitely not skimpy. For reference, MAC blushes are 0.21 oz. and NARS blushes are 0.16 oz. each.  So, if it’s a shade you’d wear everyday, it might be cheaper-per-use, but it’s still an investment.

@mdudani Hi Mdudani,  I’m NC15 and Frantic Pink is a lovely, totally believable blush on me.  There is nothing “frantic” about it.  It is quite delicate.  I don’t think you’d have much luck with it.

After seeing the arm swatches I’m actually surprised it shows up on your cheeks. I’m sure this will be a nice soft pink for very light skin tones, but it seems like one of those colors that just disappear on my NW25 skin 🙁

This would be a good color for me since I’m so pale but I already have Hervana and I doubt I need two blushes so similar, especially with a $55 price tag – and I thought Burberry blushes were expensive!

THIS–this is the one I’ve been waiting for. So pretty! I really like that it seems a little less pigmented than the other ones. It makes it easier for me to apply and looks a lot more natural. And just look at that glow!!! 😀

If it wasn’t so expensive, I’d buy every single Tom Ford blush! They are all just so beautiful! (Same with Chanel – they just always seem to get it right!) Sadly I can’t even afford a single one – LOL!

This is actually a blush shade I’d be willing to spend this amount on, and I’d probably actually wear blush more often. However, with two NARS collections coming up (and I have no idea what to expect from the Holiday lineup), I’ll have to pass for at least a few months. At least it’s not LE.

@xamyx This one and illamasqua Naked Rose are two of my most reached for blushers when I don’t want to look like I am wearing blush.  Lately though, I’ve really been branching out with blush and going for far more different colours than I used to…virtually anything I normally wouldn’t wear, even this purple from MUFE in lilac.  In any event, I doubt anyone could be disappointed in this blush.  It’s almost creamy in the application.  I can’t describe it as I’ve never had a blusher that feels like a creamy powder eyeshadow before.. but these do.
