Flush can be applied sheerly with ease or built up to a medium color coverage–it has enough pigmentation to work on deeper skin tones without being too intense on lighter skin tones. The finish has a natural sheen that isn’t heavy, shimmery, or frosted, so it doesn’t emphasize pores or the texture of the skin. It’s a very flattering shade on warmer skin tones, and though it is more coral-orange than coral-pink, the vibrancy gives it more wearability on cooler skin tones.

The texture of Tom Ford’s blushes is impressive, and truth be told, of all the items from his makeup range, the blushes have been the most impressive. Everything else has left me lukewarm or just a little excited, but the blushes have been fantastic. The texture of Flush is slightly less dense than Lovelust and Wicked, but the texture is very finely-milled, so it feels like silk and melts against the skin. It wore for ten hours and looked just barely faded along the very top of my cheekbones.

I absolutely adore the texture on the skin; it’s so smooth and clean. I have been tempted to dive in and purchase some Tom Ford items, but considering the amount of makeup I have and barely get through, I can’t justify the purpose.

However, Black Orchid and the foundation are on my wish list. The foundation is amazing; it’s right up there with the Armani foundations.

It’s nice to know Tarte Blissful is incredibly close to this one! I’ve heard too many good things about these from you though. I think one day I’ll pick a color I don’t have yet to splurge out on!

Oh wow, this is GORGEOUS. Probably going to have to pick this one up! I have Tom Ford’s Love Lust and I really love his blush formula. 🙂

I love the look of this blush! Why is it I don’t think anything of dropping $50 or $60 bucks on an eye shadow palette, but I just can’t stand the thought of spending $50 on blush? I also think this is a fabulous picture of you. I think your eye makeup looks great. Is this the MUFE aqua shadows or something different? Thanks for the review.

This reminds me of NARS’ Gilda, which is my go-to coral. Less expensive than this and better quality, IMO, compared to the Tarte one.

Simply awesome! It looks coral-pink when swatched and you have compared it with coral-pink blushes only, so is it a typo error that “is a vibrant coral orange”..?

Flush looks lovely on you, Christine! I love how finely-milled the product itself looks – the texture looks like it blends just flawlessly.

I’d probably look ridiculous in a shade like this, but that doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate it against other skintones! 😛

Hello Christine: Have the mentioned Guerlain products you have used on your eyes available, or are they future release? Both Guerlain and Tom Ford have amazing products, and your makeup looks perfectly beautiful in this photograph. Very lovely!
Thank you!

Hi Christine: Ooohh one more question and it’s a tough one. If you had to pick only 2 Tom Ford blush colours, what would they be? I really love ‘Flush’ as you have on here, but I wanted to also pick up something that will work when I am wearing a more neutral or cooler palette. I’m at a crossroads between ‘Lovelust’ and ‘Frantic Pink’. I also caught a photo where you were wearing ‘Ravish’ and it looked great on you, but I’m a bit leery as it seems too dark for me. I am NC 25/30 (the 30 always seems too yellow and right now I’m a Guerlain girl wearing 03 Beige Natural with a touch of 02 Beige Clair because the 03 is a hint or two too dark. Anyhow, much prefer the Guerlain shades as they are not as yellowing as Mac. Hahaha..I swear it’s not rocket science, but close. Anyhow, your feedback would be really appreciated with the TF blushes as I am hoping you have had the opportunity to try most of these shades. The formula looks fabulous on you and I love how they appear very diffused.
Thanks a bunch!

Frantic Pink would be your best bet for a cooler palette, though it reads more of a yellow-toned pink so it’s not really a cool-tone!

Wicked is probably the coolest-toned shade in the range, but it’s a darker pink, so you may not want the pigmentation – I think it should be fine, and it’s buildable. Frantic Pink is lighter overall. Because you’re warmer, though, Frantic Pink would be a lovely everyday kind of shade.

Hi Christine, just wanted to say a huge thank you for all the hard work you put into Temptalia. I honestly never buy anything without checking it up on you site first. I really trust your judgement and I’ve also come to understand that when you give something an A it’s really good, thank you once again and by the way you look absolutely stunning in this picture.

Hi Christine,
Great reading all your comments on this blusher..i currently use YSL Blush variation in colour number 7 (Corriander) but they’re discontinuing it and i’m absolutely gutted as love it SO much! So i’m trying to find an alternative match. Would you say this is quite similar?? The YSL one has a very subtle sheen to it..but looks so good on and also on camera.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

Hi Christine.

Your comments are great and very helpful. I currently use the YSL blush varaition colour number 7 (corriander) but they have discontinued it and i’m so gutted! Could you tell me if this is very similar to that? I’m desperately trying to find a replacement. The YSL one has a very slight sheen and looks so good on, and also on camera.
Your help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
