Chanel Tweed Coralline is a moderately warm-toned, medium-dark coral with a satin finish. It is a limited edition blush that retails for $45.00 and contains 0.19 oz.
Chanel Tweed Coralline Les Tissages de Chanel Blush ($48.00 for 0.19 oz.) is a bright, medium coral with a hint of pink and a satin finish. The finish was naturally luminous without reading shimmery, frosted, or sparkly.
Very long-time readers may remember this blush type releasing many moons ago--I feel like it has been ages since I have seen this pattern emerge from Chanel's archives! The formula is described as a "sheer blush harmony" that is "woven with shimmering powder." I'd love to know if the person who wrote that description actually tried either of the shades just made available, because they are anything but sheer. In fact, Coralline is intensely pigmented where a little went a long way--I would highly recommend using a lighter hand or a more feathery, less dense blush brush when working with these to control coverage. The texture was soft, smooth without being dusty, and blended easily on my skin. It wore well for eight and a half hours before fading.
If you normally love pigmented blushes, I think it might be right up your alley! If you were hoping for the "sheer blush harmony" Chanel described, the formula's pigmentation level may be overwhelming.
This buildable blush features “baked powder” technology, an exclusive manufacturing process to create a uniquely soft, fine texture. For easy application, the compact includes a deluxe brush.
