Tom Ford Exotic Flora Sheer Cheek Duo Review, Photos, Swatches
Exotic Flora
Tom Ford Beauty Exotic Flora Sheer Cheek Duo ($80.00 for 0.15 oz.) includes a pop of rich pink and coral housed in a large, plastic compact. Per the brand, the formula yields a “soft veil of color” when applied wet and a “sweeping pop of vibrancy” when applied dry. The formula was pigmented regardless of application method, but the dampened application looked a bit more like a cream blush on than it did when applied dry. The formula had a denser, firmer feel in the pan, so denser brushes tended to work best.

Exotic Flora (Top)
Exotic Flora (Top) is a bright, medium-dark pink with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. The blush was richly pigmented applied dry or wet, but the dampened application yielded a slightly deeper color. The texture was smooth to the touch but rather firm and dense in the pan, which meant no excess product was kicked up, and it was easy to control how much product was picked up by my brush, but it tended to work better with denser brushes. My recommendation would be use to a denser, but smaller than average, blush brush for even, medium-to-full coverage. It wore well for nine hours before fading slightly on me.

LELimited Edition.
Exotic Flora (Bottom)
Exotic Flora (Bottom) is a rich, medium-dark coral with warm undertones and a satin finish. It had opaque pigmentation applied dry that merely amplified to a deeper, richer hue applied damp but coverage was still full. I was able to blend and diffuse the powder out easily on my cheeks, but the texture itself was a bit firmer in the pan, and the powder was thinner. The color stayed on well for almost nine hours on me.

Beautiful duo! I’m going out on a limb here and guessing that the “B” is due to the blushes not being “sheer” as stated?
I won’t be getting it, though, because I have Nars Fetishised, and it looks very similar to the bottom shade. Now to get a nice, warm pink like that top shade! Either Laura Geller Guava or the MJ dupe!
I bought this and immediately returned it because it was far too pigmented, and a rather dry and unforgiving texture. Why do they call this number a “Sheer Cheek Duo”?? They actually describe the top shade a “Blooming Pink Highlighter” ?
Christine, I think your pricing info is incorrect on this- it retails at $80, not $62 (ouch)
Vibrant blush shades that would complement darker skin tones really well. I am not sure that it’s worth $68, but at least both pans are of consistent quality.
Another repeated duo for those who purchased previous sheer duo releases or fans of TF original blushes. The shades are beautiful if you are new to TF. Easy pass for me.
My thoughts exaclty.
Far too much pigmentation for me, but they’re certainly pretty.
“Exotic Flora” is a great name for these colors. Lovely. Don’t need it and won’t be getting it, but they’re nice to look at.
Wow, this is beautiful! Such bright, vivid colours; so summer-y 🙂
Love these colors for summer!
I am really tempted to purchase this duo! I love pigmented blushers as most seems to fade into nothing on my skin so hopefully this might be ‘the one’.
