Terra Moons Pastel Chameleon Eyeshadows Reviews & Swatches (Part 2 of 2)
Callisto
Terra Moons Callisto Pastel Chameleon Eyeshadow ($13.00 for 0.05 oz.) has a soft, sage green base with subtle, warm undertones with flecks of pink and gold shimmer that shifted to brighter, gold paired with a metallic finish.
It had opaque color payoff in a single layer with a smooth, lightly creamy consistency that wasn’t too firmly nor too softly pressed into the pan. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading visibly.

Formula Overview
$13.00/0.05 oz. - $260.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be a cross between "iridescent chameleon and pastel shimmer," so they have a noticeable color base but a multichrome shift. The brand recommended applying over an eyeshadow primer and in a thin layer to "intensify the shift," though I did not personally find that primer necessarily impacted the shift as they were readily apparent used on their own.
They were richly pigmented with a soft, smooth consistency that was lightly emollient but not too thick or too densely-packed into the pan, so it was easy to pick up product with a dry brush as well as fingertips/dampened brushes if preferred. The eyeshadow applied evenly to bare skin and blended out well along the edges.
The more colored base helped make these easier to incorporate with other eyeshadows, too, so those who find multichromes daunting may like to start with this type of multichrome. They lasted between seven and eight hours on me before creasing visibly.

Little Dipper
Terra Moons Little Dipper Pastel Chameleon Eyeshadow ($13.00 for 0.05 oz.) has a light, blue base with cool undertones paired with flecks of shifting shimmer that went from greenish-gold to purple. The shimmer gave it a bright, metallic finish that was smooth and shiny.
The texture was soft, lightly creamy but thin (without that being a bad thing!) and picked up well with a dry brush. It had opaque color coverage that lasted well for eight hours before showing signs of wear.

Callisto and Wavelength are perfect for going pastel without going the usual flat, dusty looking route, and I’m here for it!
What a beautiful shade Callisto is!
These are so pretty! I have quickly become obsessed with Terra Moon’s shimmer formula. It’s perfection in my book.
Am I weird for not being able to find Callisto anywhere on their site? I thought it was permanent….
That’s odd!
Nope, not weird. I placed my first order a week and a half ago and there were two shades that were recently reviewed here that I couldn’t find on Terra Moons site. I did the search by finish, search by name, and sorted every dang eye shadow (there are a lot) alphabetically. I also did a google search which showed plenty of promo pics, but the link on terra moons site was a dead link. Very strange!
Just checked their Instagram on a whim and it looks like when they stop pre orders they may just be removing the shade from the site? They really should just make a note on the shade saying “Pre-Order Currently Closed” or something to that effect — I like to add to my cart/wish list and if they disappear from the website that isn’t possible!
Callisto WILL be coming back for pre order. Here are the details I found “ALL of our pre order shadows will be available again. Pre orders close June 4th with an anticipated start ship date of June 25th.” In the image shown with the post the shadows included were: Artic Lime, Callisto, Just A Phase, Lunar Lilly, Star Crazy, Reign of Terra, Mood Ring, MI Gente, Artemis Arabian Nights, Zero Gravity, Royal. The other one I was wanting is Reign of Terra 🙂
