….looks like I saved my $54 for Disney World. I’m perfectly fine with my Peach palette. Thanks for the swatches!! You slay the eye look, too.

Marieke Avatar

Ah here are the swatches I trust! After everyone was going wild on social media, it’s hard to know what they actually look like.

I feel like UD should have given this palette a little more contrast, going more peachy or plummy with some tones to match the warm orange browns. These colors look too much alike for my taste.

Monique Avatar

It happens because the colors wasn’t for her skin tone. Before buying any makeup we should consider color theory and a color wheel can help a lot.

Neonails Avatar

The palette doesn’t interest me much (just too much warmth for one palette for me), but oooooooh boy I am loving that lipstick in Heat. That’s so pretty.

Sarah Avatar

I can’t wait to read your review! But honestly, I think this will be my first Naked palette. The shades are incredible and I love reds, oranges, and coppers. This is just absolutely stunning and you wear the shades so well!

Gaiya Avatar

Thanks for the swatches. Looking forward to the full review. Please compare the heat palette to the Anastasia modern renaissance palette please~

Leih Avatar

This is a really pretty palette! With my bright copper hair though I think it’d be overkill. Maybe if they do a “Chill” palette haha.

Cat Avatar

I’m so excited for this palette! I actually don’t have any real warm toned palettes like this. Hopefully it’s good. The swatches look promising to me for the most part, except for Ashes and En Fuego. Can’t wait for your review!

Amy Avatar

Wow! I want this pallet so bad. But En Fuego & Ashes are both SO disappointing! Anyone have any other suggestions for a pallet with colors like these? I missed out on the PB&J pallet because I refuse to pay so much for such a small pallet. You’re paying for the name not the shadow quality.

Kira Avatar

Check out Inglot ‘What a Spice’ eyeshadow collection. They have a sienna, browns and purple fall tones that are super pigmented and pretty.

Tania Avatar

Hey @ssssmanthaa mention that they didn’t swatch well but she had no trouble when actually using them on her eyes. They blended very nicely. Good luck with your search!

Sherri Avatar

Some of the darker mattes kind of look like a bummer.. and I’m afraid I have dupes of all the shimmers.. but the lipstick Fuel looks great, and the eyeliners look interesting.. Definitely waiting excitedly for your reviews on these!

Susan Avatar

Some of the eyeshadows shades are similar but I still love the palette and plan to get it. Sadly, the lipsticks won’t work for me and I hope to find cheaper dupes of the eyeliners.

Camila Avatar

Uhhh those colors are so right for me ? Too bad the Ashes and En fuego eyeshadows are poorly pigmented, a pity ☹️ Thanks Christine! I always trust in your reviews to make a purchase ? Cheers from Chile!

kjh Avatar

Saw these yesterday under the recently added swatches. They look a tad better here. But not up to standard, for the shadows. They also read kind of one note to me, which can be a good thing. But, the darker you go, the more the mattes need serious help. The rest looks pretty good. Being a liner ho, think so, Torch especially.

Nicole Avatar

How similar would you say this palette is to Sweet Peach and Modern Renaissance? If I have those, will this one offer anything different?

BonnieBBon Avatar

Thank You AB! I was planning to add that after I finished reading the comments. You did it first 🙂 high 5 ^5 lol I’m so old! Is ^5 even a thing online anymore? ?
Kills me! I bought the entire Basquiat collection just a couple days over a month ago and it’s already 30% off!!

Susan Avatar

Yes, I’m looking forward to the comparison between Torch and Anatomy, since the Basquiat collection is 30% off now.

For the liner Alkaline, could you compare it to Nyx Faux Black eyeliner in the color Oxblood, if you have it? Thanks.

Aditi Avatar

*sigh* I hate to say this, but I think I just might be in love with this collection. The swatches look promising, but I’ll wait for your review before deciding. Thankfully, the liners and the palette are permanent – and those are the ones I want the most!

Lulle Avatar

Wow this palette leans really orange. It’s like 50 shades of orange to me… I thought there would be more deep reds or burgundy, but the 2 darker mattes look like they’re poorly pigmented. The quality of the shadows looks good overall but it’s really not the kind of colors that I like to wear, so easy pass for me.

Maria Avatar

I basically started my makeup collection with the Urban Decay Naked (1) palette, and my collection has gotten ridiculous since then, including probably a billion dupes for this palette. I’m also in agreement with the rest of the comments regarding enfuego and ashes… like wtf is that UD? With all that being said, as a collector, practicality is not always the deciding factor although it certainly helps and I do like to WANT to use my makeup… but can we say Diaaaaaammmmmmmmnnn that packaging is HOT! That inside plastic housing ombre from cream to brown, and the outside rosegoldish-orangey-greenish colors. This packaging is just so cool!

Nancy T Avatar

The warm eyeshadow lover in me is going gaga over this puppy! I’m just worried that I may have dupes galore throughout all my MAC singles, ABH Modern Renaissance, and some other singles. Sad that En Fuego and Ashes both look sheer and patchy, though.
But then there’s the lipsticks and liners! OMG!

As a side note: That eye look you did is perfection for all the shades within your hazel eyes! It brings out the warm-brown and the green perfectly!

Katherine T. Avatar

IDK, the shadows look like a mixed bag, wish Lumbre was a single. The lipsticks Scorched and Heat are beautiful, but I might have dupes. And Torch eyeliner looks pretty close to Anatomy from the Basquiat collection. I don’t think I have a dupe for Alkaline eyeliner, but hoping it’s bulletproof, as I can’t have red eyeliners smudging and running

Grace Avatar

I actually prefer this shade range over Modern Rennaisance. I wish this palette was released last year when I was looking for the colors! I’ve already assembled a variety of dupes for this over the last year and a half. I’ll pick up Alkaline, but pass on the palette.

Mariella Avatar

I don’t know if it’s my computer colours or what but I am actually loving most of the colours in the e/s palette and those are colours I generally avoid like poison ivy! Ember and Scorch look so good, as do some of the the lighter shades. I’ll have to check the dupes for Ember and Scorch for sure (Ashes looks really patchy and disappointing). And Heat lipstick – super gorgeous. Can’t wait to see how they all perform.

Rebecca Avatar

Do Ashes and En Fuego have a hard and dry texture? Something seems wrong with them. Like they might have that hard layer on top, or they’re a “brick” shadow. It seems like since the Naked 1 and 2 the brand has struggled to get 12 amazing shadows into one palette.

Jessica Avatar

I know I probably have shades like this in my collection but to have all these colors in the same palette is exciting for me! Thank you for the very true swatches of this palette! I’m excited for this, and will purchase it to make a decision for myself. I think it’s beautiful.

Alicia Avatar

I can’t wait for this palette!! Perfect colors for me (plus I own all of the other Naked palettes, I *NEED* this one too!). I’ll be stalking the pre-order on the 12th. I will definitely be picking up the eyeliners and a couple of the lipsticks too!! I think UD has another hit here!

Kwmechelle Avatar

I’m quite excited about this palette! These colors are right up my alley & it excites me to have an even larger selection to choose from. They don’t all look like winners, in terms of pigmentation, but I do look forward to your review.

kellly Avatar

I would have bought this in a heart beat but it’s got that note of doom … carmine. So sad.
I can get the lipstick(s) tho.

Zoe Avatar

Lumbre looks amazing, but at this point, there is no excuse a brand like Urban Decay should be putting out patchy mattes. But if you like warm tones or have darker skin, this might be a win for you. Pass for me!

Helene Avatar

I was so sure I’d get this as soon as I possibly could. Now after seeing swatches I trust, I’m not so sure anymore. Quite a few of them looks like they would look the same on my lids, maybe if I used Milk as a primer… The two dark ones don’t look so pigmented, Ashes even looks bad, IMHO. Maybe a primer but not Milk) would help.
It’ll be very interesting to read the reviews and see the grades.

Sandra Avatar

Gorgeous! Though a few brands already have these shadows to offer this naked palette looks as good as the first one did to me years ago! Can’t wait to buy this one and that nude lipstick is so pretty! Have a peachy summer everyone!

sleepybird Avatar

I think it’s a lovely palette, but will probably wait to see if it goes on sale like Naked Smoky did. However, I must have Alkaline. I probably have about 30 or so liners and nothing like that one! The darker lipsticks look rather nice as well.

Brenda Avatar

I see the Naked tradition continues, some great performing shades and some that just can’t get there. I do like Heat lipstick, I might be able to pull that off and I’ll definitely pick up alkaline eyeliner.

Genevieve Avatar

I agree with some of the comments above, that there needs to be a bit more contrast between the shades, otherwise they are all going to look the same on the eye lid. A few shades look a bit suspect – Ashes and En Fuego particularly. It will be interesting to see how they rate…. Another great eye look Christine. You do them so well.

Betty Avatar

I think I like this palette better than other red toned palettes (like Natasha Denona Sunset) precisely because the reds are not so “in your face” but rather more coppery.

Katelyn Avatar

This is the perfect pallete for those with darker, warmer skin tones. Nice to see that. I only own the Naked 2 pallete but hardly use it. There are a few shades that are lovely in this one but not for my fair, pale skin. ?

K Avatar

Haha I have to laugh because this is literally the first Naked palette I’ve ever liked and it seems like the one everyone else is the least interested in. I hated the first two, and when Naked 3 came out I was so excited for the rose gold shades, and they were invisible on my skin tone. I’m Sicilian, but pale, so I have dark features with an olive undertone. Copper colors, though, are my jam. My eyes are copper colored and these really work for me. I bought the Heat palette when UD did the presale and I’ve been wearing it a week straight. It doesn’t look muddy and I can create several different looks, and the shadows are like nothing else in my collection (which is pretty massive). I’m going to pick up two of the three matching lipsticks. I’m glad to see this will be a permanent installation in the UD line. Up until now I have loved their lipsticks, but hated their eyeshadows. For me, this one is a keeper. That said, I do not think this will flatter everyone.
