The formula is supposed to give a “natural, seamless luminescence” to the skin with “natural-looking color.” I think it can be really lovely on the skin and yield a beautiful sheen that doesn’t emphasize pores or the skin’s natural texture. It’s not what I’d consider to be subtle glow, but it’s not a brilliant, high-shine highlighter either. The texture was smooth, but it ran a little dry and kicked up excess powder in the pan with ease. Luckily, it did not look dry or powdery on the skin, which is where it counts the most. The highlighter wore well for seven and a half hours before fading noticeably.

I like that this is a cooler, pale yellow highlighter, and very reasonably priced. In winter, when my skin is more matte and dry, I might be able to use as finishing powder
I’d be interested to hear how it would work as a finishing powder!
Hi Christine, will you review the pearlescent pink version of this?
I’ll keep that in mind!
I’d also love to see that one reviewed, if it’s in the cards, Christine.
Pearlescent pink version? I’m on that like sparkles on a Cullen!
This was one of the first highlighters I ever bought and I loved it! Wore it almost every day for about a year and a half until I lost it on a trip 🙁
Awww! Poor lost highlighter!
I still feel as though Sephora Collection products go underlooked—definitely going to give these a try, they seem promising! Would you say these are in the same realm with the excess product floating around the pan as the MAC Mineralize Skinfinishes, Christine? 🙂
I think it kicks up more than more recent MSFs!
That’s why I chose Sephora’s house brand as one of the ones that has pleasantly surprised me (in that question from earlier today). Whilst this powder is a bit yellow toned for me, I might still get it or get the pinker one (I can never tell, in the store lighting, how things actually look on me and usually end up going to the mall atrium or the ladies’ room to check in better light). But they make some truly excellent products and at really affordable prices (and I warrant that some of them are probably made in the exact same facilities as many high end products).
Stardust is really pretty! Def not pore emphasizing, thank goodness. Reminds me of e.l.f. Gotta Glow, possibly even CP Lunch Money. Both of which I have and love for just a touch of white-gold glow, if applied lightly.
However, ABH Marshmallow blows all of the aforementioned away!?
If you want super metallic glow in this hue, definitely Marshmallow is the winner!
This looks like it will be great for light olive skin tones!
Beautiful! What natural looking highlighters.
This is lovely! I appreciate its subtlety.
A really good paler and cool toned highlighter that is priced and rates well.
It was a touch too shimmery for me but it’s a really nice texture. 🙂
Actually, it’s too much of a pale yellow on my fair/pale skin. But it like a more gold version of Kat Von D’s ThunderStruck eye shadow. 😉 Great for highlighting.
I agree that many of the Sephora products are very competitive including the brushes. Although this is very nice on you, I am over supplied with highlighter of all types through purchases and GWP. I don’t seem to go through much product even though I use it frequently.
It looks really pretty. I don’t think I need another highlighter in my life dammit.
Oh I love it. very discreet but pretty. I could certainly see it as a finishing powder too. Might look nice under the eyes.
