Tarte Burst is a moderately warm-toned, light gold with a luminous finish. It is a highlighter that is permanent in this palette: Tarteist Pro Glow to Go.

Burst is a bright, creamy yellow with a golden frosted shimmer. It was richly pigmented with a soft, smooth, almost cream-like texture that had a stronger, almost powdery base. The texture felt like the shimmer wasn't as mixed in with the underlying powder, so the shimmer tended to pull away from the powder a bit when blended on the skin. It still worked out on the skin, but I am not sure if this shade will work as well on all skin tones due to the base texture and color. The highlighter wore nicely for eight hours before fading noticeably.
