Sephora Pomegranate Delirium (20) Ultra Shine Lip Gel
Sephora Pomegranate Delirium (20) Ultra Shine Lip Gel ($14.00 for 0.11 oz.) is a slightly muted, medium-dark pinky-plum with gold and pink sparkle. It had semi-opaque color payoff with noticeable sparkle and shimmer. It applied evenly and smoothly without feeling gritty. The gloss lasted for four hours on me. Sephora Happy Sunrise (25) Ultra Shine Lip Gel ($14.00 for 0.11 oz.) is a medium, peachy-orange with warm undertones and a cream finish. It had semi-sheer to semi-opaque color payoff with some translucency that allowed the natural lip color to come through. The texture was lightweight, comfortable to wear, and forgiving on the lips. The color lasted for three and a half hours on me. Bite Beauty Eight (Watercolor) (LE, ) is darker, warmer (90% similar). Sephora + Pantone Universe Cantaloupe (LE, ) is less glossy (90% similar). Sephora Gorgeous Red (29) Ultra Shine Lip Gel ($14.00 for 0.11 oz.) is a medium-dark, fuchsia pink with lighter violet and lavender micro-shimmer. It had semi-sheer to semi-opaque pigmentation with evenly distributed shimmer and color. It gave lips a more stained look, but the color went on evenly. This shade lasted for four hours on me. Guerlain Madame Flirte (861) (LE, $30.00) is darker (95% similar). Burberry Oxblood No. 23 (P, $29.00) is brighter (90% similar). Formula Summary: It is supposed to be “inspired by gel nail polishes” with an “ultra-light” texture and hydrating formula. The range as of fall 2015 seems to range from clear to mostly opaque with a slight translucency that gives them a squishy, jelly-like look with the average shade between semi-sheer and semi-opaque. They’re lightweight, comfortable to wear, and mostly non-sticky. I haven’t noticed a taste, but there is a sweet vanilla, almost caramel-like scent (it is a little on the synthetic side, but I don’t notice the scent when I’m wearing it). Despite having a smoother, mostly non-sticky feel, the formula has decent wear time (three to five hours) and is hydrating. All in all, it’s a nice formula that outdoes a lot of the more recently released new gloss formulas on the market–and at a fraction of the cost–when the shade is more pigmented, but when it is sheerer (especially the lighter shades), there is often settling into lip lines. One thing to note, though, is despite seeming like quite a big tube of gloss, it contains only 0.11 fl. oz. It has an interesting hourglass-shaped applicator, where it is curved inversely and can fit the curve of the lip.

OMG, look at that gorgeous gold shimmer in Pomegranate Delirium…..I neeeeed !!
It is pretty!
Pomegranate Delirium is beautiful. I like Gorgeous Red, though it looks more fuchsia to me. I would have liked it a bit more pigmented. Happy Sunrise is another one that’s too sheer and nude for me.
Glad you liked one of ’em! 🙂
Wow,Pomegrante Delirium is beautiful! Gorgeous Red is Gorgeous too, lol! So impressed with this formula at such a great price!
Pomegranate Delirium seems to be the winner!
I usually don’t like shimmer in gloss but Pomegranate Delirium looks really pretty!
Yayy!
I think it’s scary that I absolutely love all 3! But each for very different reasons: Happy Sunrise as a much welcomed topper for MAC Reel Sexy, which by itself on me looks very light and flat without something to give it a boost! Gorgeous Red looks great for casual, BB Cream, brows, mascara, blush, lipgloss days.
And then there’s Pomegranate Delirium…OMG!!! That’s one really juicy, sexy looking lipgloss!!!
I am seriously digging these juicy, squishy, jelly glosses! ?
Hahaha! All winners, that’s awesome! 😀
Pomegranate Delirium is soooo pretty!
Agreed!
Pomegranate Delerium is very nice.
It is!
