Revlon Sparkling Honey, Glazed Mauve, Rum Raisin Melting Glass Shine Lipsticks Reviews & Swatches
Sparkling Honey (006)
Revlon Sparkling Honey (006) Super Lustrous Melting Glass Shine Lipstick ($9.99 for 0.15 oz.) is a light brown with moderate, warm undertones and a glossy, high-shine finish. It had semi-sheer color coverage, which didn’t build up beyond that, so it fell quite short of the coverage promised by the formula. The color applied evenly and smoothed out a lot of my lip lines.
The lipstick had a creamy, smooth texture that glided easily across my lips and felt like it was melting as I applied it, though it seemed to get a bit less emollient after a minute or so. It lasted well for two and a half hours but was moisturizing while worn.

Formula Overview

The formula is supposed to have "brilliant color with major payoff" with an "amazingly buttery feel that instantly melts onto your lips for glass-like shine." The coverage was more medium to semi-opaque, often buildable to a minor degree, so I don't know that I'd call it "major payoff," the coverage was noticeable and allowed for real differentiation from shade to shade as they weren't so sheer that they ran together.
The consistency has an incredibly creamy, smooth feel that definitely melts on the lips but seems to "set" subtly, which seemed to tamp down the slip slightly, though it was still moderately emollient on my lips. I'd recommend being more conscious of using one layer or so as it can be easy to over-apply due to how much it feels like it's melting against one's lips.
The finish was definitely glass-like; very shiny and gave the illusion of volume to my lips. I found that there was some color that settled into lip lines or caught on minor imperfections with some shades, though the shine made it harder to notice in person. I imagine if you like grab-and-go color that's glossy with medium coverage or greater color that's easy to apply and re-apply, this formula could be a match.
The formula had a subtle, sweet vanilla scent but no discernible taste. The biggest "con" to the formula was the packaging, which was industrially-wrapped with a very tacky sticker that was not just difficult to remove to open the lipstick to begin with but difficult to get all of the tackiness off. I'd recommend using a sharp knife/blade (safely!) to cut across the sticker, then twist the cap off rather than removing the sticker at all.

Glazed Mauve (007)
Revlon Glazed Mauve (007) Super Lustrous Melting Glass Shine Lipstick ($9.99 for 0.15 oz.) is a muted, medium rosy-mauve with soft, warm undertones and a glossy finish with barely-there pearl. It had semi-opaque color coverage in a single layer, which didn’t build up to full coverage, but the color applied fairly evenly to my lips.
The texture felt smooth, creamy, and melted against my lips as I applied it, which made it feel a bit slippery initially. There was a smidgen of product that sank into my deeper lip lines that I could see in the close-up photo but not in person. It wore well for four hours and felt hydrating over time.

Rum Raisin (008)
Revlon Rum Raisin (008) Super Lustrous Melting Glass Shine Lipstick ($9.99 for 0.15 oz.) is a muted, medium reddish-plum with moderate, warm undertones paired with a glossy shine and faint pearl. It had semi-opaque pigmentation that applied evenly across my lips without tugging. The consistency was incredibly smooth and creamy–it felt like it melted as I applied it–that was comfortable to wear and seemed to “set” just a touch after the initial application. It stayed on nicely for four hours and was moisturizing while worn.

I like Glazed Mauve the best, but I already have three of the lipsticks listed in the dupes!
Glazed Mauve and Rum Raisin are beautiful, there’s no way I’m going near a store until this is over. We went to look at refrigerators on Saturday because I have to be there to pick one out I’ll be using it every day, we were in our truck putting on masks and gloves, I told my husband that it felt like we were going in to rob the store. Any way when we were leaving the salesman sneezed!
Even though I know it only garnered a B-, I totally love Sparkling Honey! It’s perfect for an almost no makeup look. Or a smokey eye.
Rum Raisin is really nice, too. However, I much prefer the Sephora dupe in Stronger over it.
Rum Raisin looks juicy and delicious!
These look amazing. Revlon has outstanding lippie game. I feel no need to go expensive for lipstick with them around.
These looks so lovely and fresh.
I am a bit disappointed in Rum Raisin – I thought it would be more of browny/red shade.
