Marc Jacobs Beauty Slow Burn Marc Liquid Lip Crème ($30.00 for 0.12 oz.) is medium-dark, rosy mauve with warm undertones and a creamy, lightly shiny finish. It had rich, opaque color payoff that covered the lips with smooth, even coverage. The texture had a light-medium consistency that spread well across the lips but did not feel too thin or too clingy on. It lasted for five and a half hours on me and was lightly hydrating over time.
The formula is supposed to be hydrating, long-wearing, and have full coverage. If you like the idea of liquid lipstick but prefer more of a satin finish and something more forgiving on the lips, then this formula is going to be more suitable for you. If you prefer a flat, matte finish that's transfer-proof, then this formula will not meet your needs. It is, literally, a liquid version of lipstick--it feels like a lightweight lipstick with light to moderate slip that lasts four to six hours.
