Revlon Cherry Blossom, Fuchsia Fusion, Wild Orchid Super Lustrous Lipsticks Reviews & Swatches
Cherry Blossom
Revlon Cherry Blossom Super Lustrous Lipstick ($8.49 for 0.15 oz.) is a rich, medium-dark red with strong, cool undertones and a lightly shiny, cream finish. It had medium, buildable pigmentation, as described, which applied evenly and smoothly across my lips without emphasizing my lip lines. The lipstick felt lightweight, thin but not clingy, and was emollient enough to glide on for comfortable application but not feel too slippery while worn. This shade stayed on well for five hours, left a faint stain behind, and was lightly hydrating over time. I didn’t experience any feathering while wearing it, though I’m not prone to to that.

Formula Overview
$8.49/0.15 oz. - $56.60 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to have "lightweight color and moisturizing shine" with "buildable color payoff" and a "gliding, smooth application." It's a good formula for those who like medium, buildable coverage with a smooth, balmy consistency that glides across lips easily but doesn't feel too slippery while worn.
They're comfortable to wear with light hydration but tend to wear a shorter length of time--anywhere from two to four hours with a couple of shades reaching a little beyond four hours. What I like most about the formula is the finish: it's luminous and more smoothing, so it's kinder to lips with imperfection or prone to dryness/flaking. The formula has slip but doesn't have any heaviness or slickness that makes it prone to getting into lip lines.

Fuchsia Fusion
Revlon Fuchsia Fusion Super Lustrous Lipstick ($8.49 for 0.15 oz.) is a deep pink with subtle, cool undertones and cooler, fuchsia pearl. The pigmentation was semi-opaque and buildable to nearly full coverage with a second layer. To achieve more “true medium” coverage, I’d recommend applying to the edges and then pressing lips together and dabbing on more product as needed. The lipstick was lightweight, thin but not clingy, and balm-like–emollient but not “wet” or slippery. It wore well for five hours and was lightly moisturizing while I wore it.

Wild Orchid
Revlon Wild Orchid Super Lustrous Lipstick ($8.49 for 0.15 oz.) is a bright, medium-dark fuchsia pink with cool, blue undertones and a cooler pink shimmer. It had semi-opaque color payoff in a single layer, which was buildable to nearly full coverage with two three passes (a little more pigmented than anticipated based off of the marketing). It had a smooth, balm-like texture that was lightweight, easy to apply and comfortable to wear, and the color went on evenly without gathering in my lip lines. This shade stayed on nicely for five hours and was lightly hydrating over time.

Are these all brand new Revlon lipsticks?
No.
Wow. Will check these out. They look beautiful!
It’s awesome you’re reviewing these. I have Cherry Blossom and Wild Orchid somewhere… you’re reminding me that these are great lippie esp given the price. Bit of trivia:I actually have two Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks named Cherry Blossom. IIRC, the other was a lighter pink and had a different number designation. I like them both.
Cherry Blossom is gorgeous. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen this one on the shelf—I typically see Cherries in the Snow.
Go Revlon! I love seeing inexpensive brands get high ratings! These are all gorgeous and right up my alley. Fortunately, I have dupes.
(Target usually sells Revlon Super Lustrous Lipsticks for US$4.99.)
What beautiful colors! These have my name written all over them.
Isn’t funny, but also sad, I had forgotten just how lovely Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks can be? Cherry Blossom looks quite HE actually! ?
Agree on the finish-gorgeous!
Vibrant pink to red lipsticks with excellent ratings and a reasonable price. Great value.
Love all of these and the shades are in my preferred colour family but no buy has to survive at least the first week of 2019!!
I really love when a drugstore brand nails it. Several of these are going on my wish list.
I have to investigate where I can buy Revlon make up. We used to have Revlon sort of everywhere a long time ago. It was such a pity the brand disappeared from our stores.
I really love all of the three reviewed, but have good dupes for the latter two. I would love to have Cherry Blossom.
I am on a very low buy this year, having overspent for a few years now. It might not be as fun, but heathy for the wallet 🙂
Chanel and Revlon always did know how to do reds right!
Wow … really stunning lipsticks. I definitely need to relook at Revlon’s Super Lustrous!
Anyone who hasn’t looked at the dupes page for Cherry Blossom should do that — kind of amazing how that one holds its own next to Guerlain.
Two beautiful Revlon lipsticks that I already own & a third that I must add to my collection. Christine, you’re killing me…& I LOVE it! ?
