Editor's Review

Urban Decay Shame Vice Lipstick ($17.00 for 0.11 oz.) is described as a "deep berry [with a Cream finish]." It's a dark, burgundy red with subtle, warmer undertones and a glossy finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation that went on fairly evenly (and a lot more evenly than the Revolution formula version), but some of the color gathered in lip lines, and it had some "chunks" that didn't seem to spread out. This shade wore well for five hours but feathered slightly on me. It was lightly hydrating overall. Bite Beauty Liquorice (DC, $26.00) is less glossy (95% similar). Tom Ford Beauty Black Orchid (LE, $57.00) is lighter (95% similar). Makeup Geek Acoustic (P, $15.00) is more shimmery, cooler (90% similar). MAC Lingering Kiss (LE, $19.00) is warmer (95% similar). Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Black Dahlia (DC, $18.00) is cooler (95% similar). Maybelline Midnight Merlot (DC, $7.49) is lighter, cooler, less glossy (90% similar). ColourPop Paramour (LE, $7.00) is darker, less glossy (90% similar). Estee Lauder Brazen (P, $32.00) is lighter, cooler (90% similar). Urban Decay Shame (DC, $22.00) is brighter, less pigmented, warmer (95% similar). Revlon Black Cherry (P, $8.49) is lighter, cooler (85% similar). Bite Beauty Scarlet (DC, $24.00) is lighter, brighter (90% similar). MAC Venomous Violet (LE, $17.00) is lighter, less pigmented (85% similar). MAC Musky Amethyst (LE, $19.00) is more shimmery, lighter, cooler (85% similar). Chanel Rouge Noir (109) (LE, $45.00) is lighter, warmer (85% similar).
