Editor's Review

Urban Decay 69 Vice Lipstick ($17.00 for 0.11 oz.) is described as a "bright red with pink undertone [with a Cream finish]." It's a bright, medium pink-red with blue undertones and a glossy, creamy finish. It had a really smooth, lightweight, and creamy consistency that had enough density to it that it made lips look smoother and plumper (also due in part to the higher-shine finish). The coverage was opaque, while the lipstick wore for over six hours and was hydrating. Guerlain Garconne (DC, $58.00) is darker (95% similar). YSL Rouge Remix (402) (P, $36.00) is brighter (95% similar). Guerlain Greta (DC, $58.00) is darker (95% similar). Clinique Cherry Pop (P, $19.50) is less glossy (95% similar). Tom Ford Beauty Secret Escort (Lip Color) (PiP, ) is lighter (90% similar). Guerlain #25 (P, $33.00) is more shimmery (90% similar). Givenchy Rouge Insomnie (12) (P, $34.00) is more muted, cooler (90% similar). Guerlain Rouge Parade (820) (DC, $58.00) is lighter, brighter (90% similar). MAC Everyday Diva (P, $25.00) is warmer, less glossy (90% similar). Guerlain #21 (P, $33.00) is cooler (90% similar). Smashbox Bad Apple (P, $24.00) is warmer (90% similar). This is my favourite blue based red lipstick. It's beautiful, applies opaque and evenly and has got amazing staying power! The only downside is that it doesn't apply nicely, it tugs a bit but if you can live with it, it's a great lipstick.
