Madness is described as a "bright metallic blue shimmer with blue micro-glitter." It's a softened, medium blue with cool undertones and a dusting of blue sparkle. The sparkles tended to get trapped in the brush or fall out during initial application, as it didn't seem liike any translated on the lid.
