Beehive Blue is described as a "mid-tone bright blue [with a Veluxe Pearl finish]." It's a slightly muted, medium blue with a soft, frosted finish. It had so-so color payoff; the texture had a drier feel, though it seemed to apply smoothly--just not evenly. It was a little harder to work with on the lid. When I wore it, the color started to fade after seven and a half hours of wear. Stila Sapphire (P) is darker, warmer. Sleek MakeUP Acid #6 (P, $9.99) is lighter. NARS Wishful Thinking (LE, $24.00) is a touch lighter. Urban Decay Madness (LE, $18.00) is warmer. CoverGirl Sapphire Flare (315) (LE, $4.99) is brighter. Urban Decay Radium (P, $18.00) is darker. NYX Kiss in Casablanca (P, $4.50) is darker. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
