Rare Beauty Transform is a moderately cool-toned, medium-dark red with a matte finish. It is a permanent lipstick that retails for $20.00 and contains 0.13 oz.
Rare Beauty Transform Lip Souffle Matte Cream Lipstick ($20.00 for 0.13 oz.) is a deep, rich red with subtle, cool undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had semi-opaque color coverage, which was a surprise since it was supposed to have higher coverage and was a red hue, and those tend to be the most pigmented (when they exist in a range).
The texture felt a little thinner, and it seemed more prone to separating slightly along my lip lines, which made the appear more pronounced ("shriveled" but not as bad as that distinction). The formula still had that more velvety glide to it that felt airy and very lightweight, and while it looked matter within a few minutes from the initial application, it remained flexible and comfortable to wear. It wore well for seven hours but felt a bit drying over time.
