Rare Beauty Brave Lip Souffle Matte Cream Lipstick ($20.00 for 0.13 oz.) is a muted, light-medium brownish-orange with moderate, warm undertones and a satin finish. This was one of the shades that took longer to "dry down," so it was more of a gradual wearing down to a more matte finish. For faster results, press lips together a few times and/or blot gently!
It had rich color coverage that adhered well to my lips with a smooth, even color delivered in a single layer that didn't highlight lip texture. The consistency felt lightweight, airy, and had a bit more "wetness" compared to other shades in the range, though it was still more of a velvety feel overall with glide over traditional creaminess. It lasted nicely for five hours and felt neither drying nor hydrating over time.
