Maverick is a medium-dark taupe with neutral undertones and a matte finish. It was richly pigmented, while the consistency was a smidgen dusty in the pan, it had enough substance to apply well to bare skin with even coverage. The eyeshadow blended out nicely along the edges and wore well for eight hours before fading.
