Brave is a deep brown with neutral-to-cool undertones and a matte finish. It had good pigmentation with a soft, silky texture that was a smidgen dusty in the pan but didn't prove to result in fallout during application. I noticed that it seemed prone to deepening slightly when applied to bare skin, and it wasn't as blendable as it could have been, though certainly workable. It lasted well for eight hours on me before fading noticeably.
