Blitz Emerald is a rich, medium-dark emerald green with a warm, blackened-brown base and a metallic finish. The brand recommends "press[ing] the pigment into the lid with the fingertip to build intensity" (read: buildable), which I found true of fingertip application--medium coverage that built up to mostly opaque coverage. With a dry brush, it had medium coverage and didn't seem quite as buildable, and with a dampened brush, it was opaque in a single layer and applied very smoothly. I prefer precision, so a dampened brush was my preferred method of application. The texture was soft, lightly dusty, and felt a touch drier (almost like a baked product--dry but not dry in a way that impacted the application or wear). It lasted for eight and a half hours on me.
