Chic is a bold, dark plum with cool undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had rich color payoff--I only needed the barest touch of my brush to get enough coverage for semi-opaque color on my skin tone--that blended out fairly easily. The finish seemed to have a "natural matte" finish, where it did not appear completely flat but wasn't shimmery or luminous either. I noticed signs of fading after nine hours of wear.
