NARS Soleil d'Orient is a moderately warm-toned, light-medium copper with a pearl finish. It is a limited edition lipgloss that retails for $26.00 and contains 0.18 oz.
NARS Soleil d'Orient Lipgloss ($26.00 for 0.18 fl. oz.) is described as a "shimmering pink champagne." It's an ultra-shimmery, golden beige with warm undertones. It had semi-opaque color coverage where most of the coverage was the result of the shimmer, rather than the base color having that much pigment. The texture was comfortable to wear, felt lightweight, though moderately sticky. The color wore well for four and a half hours and was lightly hydrating. MAC Bared for You (LE, $15.00) is lighter. MAC Water Deities (LE, $15.00) is similar. MAC Clear Water (LE, $15.00) is lighter. NARS Bimini (P, $26.00) has finer shimmer, lighter. MAC Soft Serenade (LE, $15.00) is arker. MAC Boundless Beige (P, $19.50) is lighter, less opaque. MAC Satin Slip (LE, $20.00) is similar. Hourglass Imagine (P, $28.00) is lighter. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
