Just Breathe #2 is a muted, medium-dark gray with silver shimmer and a metallic sheen. It was a drier, chunkier product to work with that had sheer color payoff applied dry and semi-opaque pigmentation when applied damp. It had a lot of fall out during application and then minor fall out over the seven and a half hours it lasted. Too Faced Tin Soldier (LE, $16.00) is more metallic. theBalm Surf’s Up (LE, $16.00) is darker. Make Up For Ever ME116 Silver (P, $21.00) is lighter. NARS Jardin Perdu (Left) (LE, $24.00) is similar. Sleek MakeUP Acid #11 (P, $9.99) is darker. NARS Bad Behaviour (LE, $24.00) is darker. Fyrinnae Frostbytes (P, $6.80) is cooler-toned. Makeup Geek Galaxy (P, $5.99) is darker, less shimmery. Makeup Geek Prince Charming (P, $6.99) is less shimmery. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

The Mineralize Eyeshadow formula is supposed to have "low-to-medium coverage" when applied dry and "more intense coverage and color" when used wet. Most shades have color payoff that is true to the brand's description: semi-sheer to semi-opaque when used dry and semi-opaque to opaque when used with a dampened brush. I tend to find that they apply more smoothly and evenly with a more metallic finish with a dampened brush as well. Some shades can be a little too dry or dusty and do not apply as well with a dry brush. The wear is typically a bit less than average on me--six to seven hours.
