MAC Primrose is a moderately cool-toned, dark berry with a glossy finish. It is a limited edition lipstick that retails for $20.00 and contains 0.1 oz.
Primrose is described as a "sheer berry plum [with a Lustre finish]." It's a medium-dark, cool-toned berry plum with a glossy shine. It had semi-opaque color coverage that applied somewhat unevenly with a little settling of the color into lip lines. As the color wore away, it did seem to migrate and settle more into the lip lines. It managed to wear four hours and left a stain behind, which is quite long for a Lustre finish, and it wasn't drying. Inglot #293 Lipstick Cream (P, $12.00) is more opaque. YSL Forbidden Burgundy (12) (P, $34.00) is brighter.Marc Jacobs Beauty Seduce Me (128) (P, $30.00) is lighter, brighter. Urban Decay Venom (P, $22.00) is more shimmery. MAC Rebel (P, $16.00) is slightly cooler-toned, less glossy. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
