MAC Midnight Troll Lipstick ($18.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a "rich blue [with a Matte finish]." It's a bright, medium-dark navy blue with strong, cool undertones (almost looks violet in some lighting conditions) with a satin finish. It isn't matte to me, and it had enough slip in it that it doesn't apply as evenly as a true matte might have in this hue. The color lasted for five hours and left a strong stain behind.
