Lisa Eldridge Velvet Ribbon Plush True Velvet Lipstick Colour ($32.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a vibrant, medium red with cooler, blue undertones and a satin finish. It had good color coverage that needed a bit more product to get to full coverage (my lip freckle peeks through ever-so-slightly). The texture was smooth, velvety, and creamy enough to glide across my lips without tugging but never felt slippery on my lips. If you've tried a silicone-based face primer, it has a similar glide (the first ingredient in the lipstick formula is dimethicone!). The color sat well on my lips without emphasizing lip texture or lip lines. It wore well for over six hours, left a faint stain behind, and was non-drying over time.
