Lisa Eldridge Velvet Midnight is a very cool-toned, dark burgundy with a satin finish. It is a limited edition lipstick that retails for $32.00 and contains 0.12 oz.
Lisa Eldridge Velvet Midnight True Velvet Lipstick Colour ($32.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a deep burgundy with cooler undertones and a semi-matte finish. It had nearly opaque color coverage in a single, fluid stroke, though it seemed to struggle to adhere as strongly to the inner area of my lip compared to the rest of my lips.
The texture was smooth, very lightweight (to the point where I forgot I had it on), but it lacked the traditional slip of a creamier lipstick; instead, it was more velvety and silicone-like as it glided across my lips. It wore well for eight hours and was neither drying nor hydrating over time.

Paint your lips as an artist would with these highly pigmented True Velvet Lipsticks. Described as 'A phenomenon... a work of art’. Each bullet has the appearance of beautifully plush velvet fabric, a ‘trompe l’oeil’ that has to be seen to be believed. This is matte lipstick revolutionised with a saturated technicolour formulation and a creamy texture with a slight sheen that’s 3-D and luscious, not a flat matte. So intensely pigmented, it’s easy to create either a one-swipe graphic lip statement or pat gently for the ultimate subtle lip stain. Cutting edge lab tech has enabled the creation of a very long-wearing, non drying crème which feels lightweight, silky and comfortable to wear.
