It had semi-opaque pigmentation in one stroke, which was somewhat buildable--it appeared brighter and more intense--but coverage was always somewhat translucent. The consistency was creamy and easy to apply without tugging on the lash line, and the eyeliner wore well for twelve hours on me before it started to fade/thin with decent color still apparent at fifteen hours.
