It had semi-opaque pigmentation in one pass, which was buildable to nearly opaque coverage with a second layer. The pencil had a smooth, lightly creamy texture that glided easily across my skin without tugging but was quick to set so it didn't migrate into fine lines. It wore well for seven and a half hours on my lower water line and nine and a half hours on my lower lash line.
