Best Life is a deep berry with subtle, cool undertones and flecks of teal sparkle over a matte finish. There were very few visible sparkles on my lid after I applied and blended out the shade, so it was--functionally--more of a matte in practice. The texture was soft, a little powdery in the pan, but it retained its nearly opaque coverage when applied to bare skin. It wore well for eight and a half hours before fading noticeably.
